Overall history: Xaria's childhood was pretty uneventful. She was born in Denver, USA, and lived with her parents and brother for five years. On her sixth birthday, she and her brother were sent away from home without being told why. She arrived, with her brother, at her Aunt's house, where she had everything explained. Her mother was dying, and her father didn't want to leave. A year later, on her seventh birthday, she found out that her mother had died two days beforehand and her father was no-where to be found.

She loved living with her aunt for a while. Her brother had found himself a job as a Dragon handler and tamer, and the three lived in harmony for little over a year. Things took a turn when Xaria started telling stories with strange, twisted meanings, and her Aunt decided not to let her out out her sights, which was when Xaria started becoming more and more rebellious. She stormed out of the house one day, vowing not to return, but she did because she missed her brother dearly.

Her brother took her on holiday the year she turned ten. Xaria and Santiago didn't like being so restricted at home, and since Xaria's brother was old enough, they decided to get away for a while. When they returned, they were ushered inside by their overly protective aunt and forbidden to leave the house until Xaria went off to school. They considered this a challenge, and decided to test their aunt as much as they could, sneaking out, causing trouble, doing whatever they could to anger the poor woman
