Out of bounds

Calypso was walking along the water's edge when she heard the sound.
The sky was a brooding overcast, covering everything in a bland grey. It was eerily silent, when the sond came, like a bell. Not a tinkling, but like a muted gong, strangely reflecting around what looked like a cave.
Overcome with her curiosity, Calypso walked forward carefully and peered inside.
