The reputation of this particular pub proceeded it to where even underage people knew of and avoided it. Or those that weren't foolish usually did. Ren didn't consider himself foolish. Far from it. However he was prone to boredom and feared that his boredom would cause his intellect to diminish. There weren't many that had original thoughts and he'd found himself disliking most of his fellow students. Perhaps it was due to the fact that he hadn't socialized much as a small child having stayed in the company of an adult. Perhaps that was why he didn't feel like a child and didn't like when people tried to use his age against him. Granted he was a teenager and those were the years most wanted to put behind them as quickly as possible. Ren believed he could use that to his advantage since most would think he'd act and think like a typical teenager.
Just in case, Ren had made sure he'd put a bit of work into his appearance. Polyjuice wasn't practical enough for him since one had to keep track of time to be sure you didn't start reverting back to your true self too soon. Things happened and that was another reason why he didn't go for an illusionment charm. Things could disrupt magic and others could tell and spot out such things. So the teenager had fallen on old muggle tricks.
The night before their day off from classes, Ren had gone to the showers and used a wash to temporarily dye his hair a light shade of brown. Making sure he'd had everything needed before leaving the castle, he had slipped off into the more reputable pub and changed in there. Popping in colored contact, and adding the make up and facial putty to age himself. Lastly he'd made sure the hood of his cloak was up as he went to Kladbishcha.
Entering he took a seat in one of the dimmer corners to sit and listen, eyes taking in everything. His attention was drawn to someone at a nearby table at the person sitting there. Putting all his years of lying and subterfuge to his mother, Ren sat at the table sipping his drink gazing at the glass rather then the person. The other must have sensed his initial first glance because when Ren took a glance up the person gave him an assessing look.
