Catching Up.

Melanie quickly found herself a table and sat down, glancing at her watch.

She was supposed to meet some friends from Hogwarts for ice cream. She hadn't really talked to any of her friends since she was back and felt rather bad about it and had for that reason asked a couple of girls to come and meet her for ice cream, besides, everyone loved ice cream so it was a win-win situation.

Anyara stopped infront of the door to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, playing with some of her hair. She didn't have a book with her, not this time. She was supposed to meet up with some friends, friends she hadn't seen for quite some time. She'd been away for most of the first year because of something that happened at home. She wasn't as shy as she were before the summer, she had changed a bit.

Anyara opened the door and walked in. She saw Melanie McKinnon sitting at a table. She smiled, Mel didn't seem different from last time she'd seen her. She walked over to her, still slightly playing with her hair. "Hey Mel, enjoying your summer?" She smiled kindly.

Mel looked up to see one of her really close Ravenclaw friends. "Oh Anya you made it!" she smiled excited and stood up to hug her. "My summer has been fine, a bit boring.. but you know, fine." she said and took her seat again. "Have a seat, how was your summer my dear?"

Anyara hugged her back and grinned. "As overexcited as ever." She sat down infront of Mel and placed her hands on her lap. "My summer started kind of dull, but it cleared a bit.." She smiled. "I'm just excited for our second year at Hogwarts."

Mary entered the Ice Cream Parlour with a smile on her face, the sun was shining and the day had gone good so far. And she was going to meet up with some friends.

"Anya! Melly!" she cried out as she spotted her friends and ran over to tehm. "How are you two!"

Anyara heard Mary's voice and turned her head to see her running towards them. She stood up and greeted her with a hug. "M, glad to see you again!" She smiled happily. "I'm currently good, how about you?"
