"Yes, I know, it sounds like a funny problem!" Tre whined, shifting his weight and bringing his knees to his chest, wrapping his arms around his legs. "It's your fault." he muttered, wincing slightly. "I should make you deal with it."
He froze as D'Angelo came into the room, before attempting a look of nonchalance. "Hello, sir." He said cheerfully, his eyes watching the man as he made his way closer and closer to Ash, his eyes narrowing dangerously the closer the man came.
"Shawn."
"Father." Tre said briskly, his golden eyes flickering to Lord Beneparte. They stared each other down silently, until D'Angelo cleared his throat. Tre looked over at the Mafia Lord, his hold on his knees tightening the slightest bit.
"Angel. I'd like to talk to you." D'Angelo, for the first time, didn't look threatening at all, merely... like a man who wanted to talk.
"Alright."
Ashleen's father raised an eyebrow when Tre made no motion to move. "Come along, Angel."
"C-come...?" Tre choked. "No, no, it's fine right here." He blinked up at D'Angelo, before looking at his father, then at-at- His gaze flicked away from her before it even fully there. "Really, we can talk here."
"Angel. Don't be stubborn. I won't bite."
"Really really really feeling this spot though. It's a nice place for a heart to heart. I think. D-Don't you think?" He flushed slightly, before going pale again, the emotions playing over his face faster than should be possible.
D'Angelo narrowed his eyes at the boy suspiciously, and Tre paled further.
