Alexander Vorstenbach stood in the kitchen of the house he had grown up in. It was late in the afternoon and he felt like baking a cake. He started digging through the cabinets taking out bowls, pans, spoons, measuring cups, measuring spoons, other utensils she uses to bake with. “What if I did cupcakes instead?” He asked out load and put the pans back taking out Muffin pans and papers.
Walking over to the door Alexander called, “Hey anyone wants to help me bake a cake of cupcakes?” He then went over and dug out his old cook book looking for the strawberry cake recipe. It had been for ever since he had made a Strawberry cake. “Nonstick vegetable spray, All-purpose flour, self-rising flour, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, pureed strawberries, pure vanilla extract, lemon zest, eggs, and red food coloring,” He read as he got out all the ingredients he would need.

Lena had just woken up from a long nap, and Merlin knew how she managed to wake up. Because she had skipped yet another meal last night her stomach hurt like shit, and she couldn't stop holding her head as she went down the stairs.

She heard a familiar voice yell out cake ingredients, and she couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "Alex, don't tell me you're actually baking a cake again," the Uchitel laughed, shaking her head.

Descending down the stairs slowly was one Rose Ann Lucinda, the 13 year old Uchitel yawned clutching her teddy bear tightly with one hand as she did. Not about 3 steps she had taken she grinned and rushed to the side. She climbed on top of em and let out a loud Weee as she slid down before stopping right before she hit that bulb thing at the end. She giggled as she got off and started walking towards the kitchen, clutching the teddy bear to her chest.

"Lena..." she said as she tugged at Lena's clothes. "Who he be?" she asked her tone laced with sleepiness. He gazed at the man thinking she had never seen before or had she? She couldn't remember not when she saw strawberries on the counter. She bounded up to the counter and reached for a strawberry and popped it into her mouth before wandering back to hide behind Lena.

And just cause I like doing this stuffOUTFIT

Lena stared at Alex, who didn't reply, and that made her a little irritated. Her brows furrowed, "Alex, I know you're busy making a cake and all, but for Godric's sake, do you mind introducing yourself to my daughter, here?" She shook her head. "Legally, she's your daughter, anyway, but considering your busyness..."

Gently, Lena pushed Rosie towards her brother. "This is my brother, Alexander Vorstenbach," she calmly explained, massaging her daughter's shoulder, "also known as your adoptive father. He's married to my sister Patricia. Speaking of which..." Lena paused to look around the kitchen. "Where is she?"

“Always,” Alexander said glancing up at his sister and flashing a smile at her. “Sorry,” Alexander said wiping cake stuff off his hands and walking over to the girl. “Well, as Lena here said, I am Alex, and apparently your father in some way.” Smiling he also added, “And it’s nice to meet you.” Turning he went back to his caked until his sister asked about Patricia, “I’m not quite sure. Haven’t seen her.” He shook his head and looked back up at the girl who had been hiding behind his sister. “Would you like to help me?” he asked.

Annie's brow furrowed then offered a hesitant smile up to Lena. "Mohmee! If Momma Pat be your sister why does he have Vorstenbach as his last name?" she asked with a pout. "Isn't the boy's last name supposed to go with the girl?" she added a look of confusion on her face. She blinked and tilted her head at Alex then grinned as she bounded up to him "Yes please! I be handy little helper!"
