Where they lurk (Open)

Jake rested his hands on his legs and sat on a gloomy bench, thinking.

"This is dark," he said to himself.

And then he heard footsteps.

Cecilia picked her way through the graveyard when she saw a boy sitting on a bench, alone. She flipped her long blonde hair and smiled dazzlingly at the boy. She knew she looked adorable...now would he?

Yes, he's hot, she thought with a smirk on her face.

"Hello," she said. "Mind if I join you?"

Jake turned red as a girl walked towards him. She was pretty, he realized, but brown hair and blue-gray eyes still danced in his mind as she walked towards him.

"Uh, sure..." he said. "What's up?"

Cecilia giggled and ran an hand down Jake's arm. "I'm Cecilia," she purred. "What's your name?"

"Jake," Jake said, frozen to the spot as she smiled at him. "Jake...Ornery. What's your last name?"
His voice cracked and he mentally face-palmed.

"Veradiz," Cecilia said sweetly, smiling at him and batting her eyes. "You must be a second year. I've just started Hogwarts! It's marvellous there."

"Yeah, I guess..." Jake said nervously, edging away slightly. "It's pretty cool there...yeah, I am a second year."

"Oh," Cecilia said flirtatiously.

She checked her watch. "Oops! It's time to go. It's been nice seeing you, Jake." She reached over and kissed him, long and hard, on the lips. "I guess I might see you in Hogwarts soon."

Jake Ornery, simply, wanted to die.

Letti walked into the graveyard, and saw two people. One of them was a hufflepuff that was in her potions class last year. Jake, she thought his name was. He was the one that Aurie told him about. She was pretty sure they were dating, but Aurie never said much.

Her eyes widened as she saw that girl kiss Jake. When she was far enough away, she tapped Jake on the shoulder. "It's funny, A few weeks ago, i would've bet my life that you and Aurie were dating," Letti said, her hands on her hips. "But now I'm not so sure."

Jake groaned. "I don't like Cecilia," he muttered. "She's too flamboyant! And I didn't even know her! What kind of girl kisses a guy that she's only just met?"

"She's a whore, Jake! She was obviously flirting with you! AND," she yelled, "she's a first year!"

Letti sighed, trying to calm down. "Just tell me something," she said. "Do you like Aurie as more than a friend?"
