Diary of Jane Empty Diary of Jane

Post by Karmzy Sun Jun 10, 2012 4:13 am

The sound of many books hitting the floor registered before anything else did. The world seemed to shift, one way, then the other, and she was having a hard time coping with that. How in the hell was she supposed to keep her balance if the world kept... kept...

She grabbed out wildly, her fingers catching on a bookshelf as she struggled to keep her balance. What... what was...

Her stomach lurched, and her eyes darkened drastically.

    Kama? What-?

    T-try to-

Her entire body convulsed, and she was on the ground, deep, heaving coughs burning through her. A cold sweat had broken out over her entire body, and as she wiped her mouth...

Her fingers came away red and sticky.

B-Blood? When was the last time we-

    ...I don't remember.

Karma tried to take deep breaths, getting her feet beneath her and somehow pushing herself upward. She staggered, slamming into the bookshelf on the other side of the isle, causing more books to fall on her, a few crashing into her as well. What was...

Karma! Listen to me! We need-!

She took a few more steps, wavering as she tried to stay upright, slamming into another bookshelf instead. Books were left on the ground in her wake, and she coughed again, bending at the middle and covering her mouth. Her entire hand was covered in red now, and she couldn't stop its shaking. Her entire body was shaking... Her eyes were fully black now, tears of blood seeping out of her eyes. She wiped her face, confused to find blood there too.

    What was...?

Karma! You have to listen to me! We need to-

    But Kama's voice was fading.

What was it with these stupid humans and their want to be so ignorant? Irelia growled slightly as she shoved a book back onto the shelf, only her self control stopping it from ripping the entire sfelf of books apart. This was the last place that she would find some useful information at it seemed.

The Professor frowned slightly as her sensitive nose caught a strange unpleasant smell. There wsa another vampire in the library. Was is that half human girl? Most likely. Only she did not smell like herself. She stepped out of the isle she was currently in and turned in the direction of the scent, searching for the girl through the maze of the library. It wasn't long before she caame across Karma Black, coughing harshly and sitting on the floor.

"What have you done to yourself?" Irelia's tone was harsh, as it was most of the time as she rushed towards the girl. "Are you just as stupid as these humans? No wonder, you lived amongst them all your life," she said to herself as she lifted the girl's weight up easily, her arm going under Karma's shoulders "Come, I have blood in my office," Irelia said, carrying the girl out of the library. She did not look well at all, there was no time to waste.

Karma barely sensed the other vampire, and if anything, that bothered her most of all. "Let... Put me... down..." She coughed again, not noticing that blood now coated the front of her uniform. "I don't-" She didn't have to energy to keep... to not...

"...Hothead..." She murmured thickly, closing her eyes as the world moved itself again, taking her with it through its loop-de-loops and spins. She was fading in and out of conciousness, her head lulling back as she caught glimpses of things. The portraits watching her warily, doorways both empty and full of students, statues of armor that seemed to watch as they passed. All of this fragmented by times of darkness, where she may have been blinking for long periods of time, or she may have been losing conciousness. She couldn't...

Through all of this, she didn't see what she was looking for. There was no familiar flash of red eyes, no comforting rise in body heat. Just humans, their eyes wide and curious - some even horrified - and the cold woman carrying her. No Demonboy. No Hothead.

She closed her eyes once more, almost losing it completely.

Irelia hardly payed attention to the words that the girl spoke, only noticing the quality of her voice, how it was getting weaker and weaker. "Stupid children," the woman muttered to herslef as she hastened her pace to her office. She wouldn't have the girl dying on her. Her cold galre caused any of the students that they passed to get out of their way, the temper of the Histor of Magic Professor being well known to them.

"Almost there," she told the girl as they turned the final corner, walking a few meters ahead to her office. Quickly unlocking the door, the vampire swung it shut just after they entered. Glancing down to see the almost unconcious state of the sudent Irelia settled her down on a couch. "I will be right back," she said, her words ressuring yet her voice remaining as cold as it always was.

"Here," Irelia said as she knelt beside the couch, supporting the girls neck and brining a plastic bag of blood to her lips.

Aragorn looked up from his book as his vision blurred and a massive headache ripped through his skull. It had come out of no where, as if someone had magicked it into existance. He shook his head and regretted it instantly, falling over against the person sitting beside him. The other boy gave him a look that he couldn't make out and pushed him over again.

He swallowed back bile that was rising into his mouth hard and jumped up, stumbling before taking off out of the portrait hole and hurrying down the stairwell to the sixth floor. He could feel her this time and, even though there was relief that he could feel her, he was terrified. She'd never affected him this badly before.

He leapt down into the hall, pushing past some girl with her hands full of books. They fell, he heard, but he wouldn't appologize until later, when the crisis was over. He ignored the glares coming from her friends and hurried to the classroom he knew her to be in, touching the door and thrusting it open.

Gorn rushed past the History of Magic teacher without warning and ripped open his shirt, leaning over Karma. He touched her lightly, "Karamel, come on. Wake up."

Karma didn't react the the bag of blood at her lips, other than to sniff slightly. It didn't smell like...

She whined slightly, her eyes still closed, and took a deep breath of air through her nose.

The door slammed open in response, and then the scent of ownership prevailed all. Her fingers found their way into Gorn's hair to pull him forward, her fangs extended, and then she was drinking.

The taste of her ownership, coupled with the scent that was surrounding her, made Aragorn the perfect healing elixir. Her fingers tightened in his hair, and she pulled him closer, the endorphins in her saliva sinking into the boy to send him sky high with pleasure, instead of pain.

The time lengthened, but she did not stop drinking, unable to, it would seem. She just needed more... just a bit more... just a bit...

She moaned softly into the boys neck, her tongue attacking the bite as to bring more blood for her, and more endorphins for him.

    She couldn't stop.

Irelia forwned, feeling some level of ergency as the girl did not take any of the blood that she was offered. "Drink, you stupid girl," the Professor growled just before the door was banged open and a student came rushing in. She didn't say anything as she puleld back immidiately, sensing the smell of ownership on him. It seemed that the half breed did not need any help after all. Why did she even bother herself with her?

Irelia scowled to herself as she turned away from the pair and went to put her bag where she took it from. As she turned back to tKarma and Aragon, ready to kick them out of her classroom as soon as tthe girl was able to lift herself onto her own feet, the vampire was confronted with an image of the Ravenclaw's sickly pale form, and the Slytherin still latched onto his neck.

"Have you lost your mind completely?" she snarled at Karma as she yanked the boy away from her, causing a larger wound to form itself on his neck. "You ignorant half-breed! We cannot have students dropping off in this school every few weeks just because you did not bother to feed yourself. Get up," she snapped as she yankedd the girl up from the couch.

"You," she turned to face Aragon, her expression more than menacing. "Leave. Now. Or I will have you serving detention until you have the entire Hogwarts: A History book written out by hand," she snapped at him.

Aragorn shuddered as Karma started draining him of his blood. Even if it was pleasureable, it was alarming all the way through. She was drinking way too much from him, he would surely pass out if she didn't stop. And once he'd passed out, who was to say what would happen next?

He gasped as he got to the point where if he lost anymore, he was a goner. He almost screamed for Karma when Irelia tore him away from her. Thank the gods she'd finished feeding beforehand. He fell to the floor, though, unable to focus well on coordination.

He almost laughed at her threat of detention. Hogwarts: A History? Please, he'd read that book at least ten times in his spare time. What did she think he was, a Gryffindor? He kept himself from snarling at her though, glancing at Karma to get the okay, whether he had the teacher's authority or not.

Karma snarled as her blood was taken away, her feet automatically placing themselves underneath her body as she was pulled up. She balanced on her feet haphazardly, the only thing keeping her upward her vampiric sense of being. She looked up at the woman, her eyes darkening before lightening again, then going to Gorn.

She nodded lightly at the boy, giving him permission to leave, before shaking off the Vampire's hands. "You assume I had a mind to begin with?" She asked, a smirk flitting across her lips. Her potion-induced insanity had been replaced by the self-satisfaction that came with being filled so completely by Claimed - Owned - blood. She snorted softly, rising to her full height. It wasn't very impressive, but the blood in her made her spine straighten. "I appreciate what you've done by bringing me here, Professor." She said, taking a step back. "I never would have killed him, you know."

"I said get out!" Irelia snarled at the Ravenclaw as shte grabbed him by the back of his shirt. easily lifting his feet off the ground. "I will drain the blood from your body myself if you don't start moving now," she whispered in his ear as she carried him to the door. After throwing him out, the vampire slambed the door to her classroom shut and tured to face the Slytherin who she had pushed back into the couch.

"If you want to stay in this school, or stay alive for that matter, than I suggest you stop behacing like a foolish child and actually use the brain in your head to think," she snapped at the girl as she moved towards her.
