He put his father to shame though because he cant be beat. His father tought him how to gamble with cards whe he was nine years old. Every day e would swindle his little friends out of their lunch moneyuntil he was expelled from every muggle school in monte carlo. His father didnt care. he would sneak his son into the casinos with him and use him to his advantage.
Their strategy worked until Oliver got his letter to go to beauxbatons. he puts on a sweet innocent act during classes, afterwords, out with the card table and decks Hes out in the courtyards, gambling up a storm. He gets in trouble only when he gets caught. Gambling runs in hids blood and hes not going to give that up for anyting.
Every summer he and his father still go to the casinos. Its hard for Vincent to hide Oliver now, so he got him a fake ID. In the casinos, Oliver is known as Theo Lavesque. Nobody has figured him out yet. Hes one of the top gamblers in Monte carlo. Nobody will take his fame away
