Basilwood (Firoza's "Home Town")

Firoza wakes up to a loud rapping on her room door. Blinking at the morning light steaming through her window, she rubs her eyes and flips the sheets off herself, instantly cold in the cold air from the paneless window. "Get up, you lazy girl! I need you to go get the groceries!" snarls an old, coughing voice from the other side of the door. Firoza sighs and glares at the door. "Yes, Mrs. Fravernly," replies Firoza in a monotone voice, muttering, "old hag" when she's sure Mrs. Fravernly has already shuffled downstairs.

Firoza gets dressed in dark skinny jeans, a red tank top, and a leather jacket. She slips a dagger and its sheath onto a brown belt around her waist, and lastly puts on her faithful combat boots. Thumping down the stairs, making as much noise as possible, she bolts outside while slamming the door closed.

As much as she hated doing anything for the old lady, she appreciated the freedom of going out. Mrs. Fravernly would ONLY be furious if she stayed away a FEW hours. Nothing she couldn't handle. So, enjoying this precious moment, she walked down the streets...
