A Hankering for Creamy Deliciousness

Leah walked into Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour with a craving for ice cream. She walked up to the counter and waited politely for the waiter to turn to her. "Can I have a scoop of gravy flavor, a scoop of pickle flavor, and a scoop of salmon flavor. With seaweed flavored sprinkles!" Leah asked, pointing at the different flavors on the menu on the counter.

She handed the man four sickles and took the ice cream towards a table near the window. She dug in to her ice cream and smiled happily.

She looked up as someone sat next to her and beamed up at her best friend. "Blaire! What are you doing here?''

Blaire entered the ice cream parlour and walked up to the counter.

"Can I get two scoops of chocolate with chocolate syrup and chocolate sprinkles?" she asked the waiter. She really wanted some chocolate at the moment and wondered whether she had gone overboard on it.

When he returned with her ice cream, she handed the waiter a few sickles before looking around for somewhere to sit. She spotted her best friend Leah DeLuna sitting at a table near a window and decided to join her.

"Leah! Hi!" she squealed as she sat down, a bright smile on her face. "Just craved some ice cream! How are you?"

Leah smiled slightly before taking a bite out of her ice cream. "I feel....weird. I don't know how to explain it," she shrugged. "How about you?"

She noticed the amount of chocolate Blaire had and laughed. "Did you decide that was enough, or did the owner not let you get anymore for fear he'd run out?" Leah joked.

"Weird?" Blaire asked, frowning a bit. "How so?"

She rolled her eyes at Leah before taking a big bite out of her ice cream.

"Mmm, this is so good," she sighed, taking a napkin and wiping a bit of chocolate off of her chin. "Nah, I decided this was enough. You can never have too much chocolate! What flavour is yours?"

Leah shrugged. "I've been eating a lot, and I just feel....weird."

"Not true! Chocolate is, and forever will be, evil!" Leah said, laughing evilly. "Okay....that was a bit over-dramatic," she grinned.

"Um, I'm having gravy, salmon, seaweed, and pickle flavored ice cream!" Leah smiled, taking a big bite of her ice cream. "It's yummy."

"Hmm, might want to go see a Healer," Blaire said, but shrugged it off.

"Chocolate is not evil! How dare you say such a thing?" she said, mocking astonishment. She giggled and rolled her eyes again.

"Gravy, salmon, seaweed and pickle?" she asked, scowling in disgust. "That's gross! You have a weird sense of taste!"

"I don't think it's that big a deal. I'm sure i'll feel better soon enough," she shrugged.

"Yes it it!" Leah said. "It gives you tummy aches!" She laughed, rolling her eyes at her stupidity.

"I know, it's weird. I just get these weird cravings. Funny...i hate seafood," Leah said, scrunching up her nose.

"Um, I have some news," she said, wringing her hands nervously.

"Whatever you say, its your body," Blaire said, shrugging again.

"Is not!" she argued. "And it only gives you tummy aches if you eat too much."

"Hate seafood? How could you hate seafood? Seafood is amazing!" she said incrediously. "Weird cravings? Huh," she asked. She had an idea forming in her mind, but was sure she must be wrong.

"News? What kind of news?" she asked eagerly, sitting on the edge of her chair excitedly.

"That's why it's evil! I can't eat as much as i want without getting a tummy ache," Leah pouted, wrapping her arms around her belly area.

"I don't HATE seafood. More like I only like shrimp and that's about it," she said, eating her ice cream happily. "I know that look. That's your thinking look. Why do you have that look?"

Leah took a deep breath before showing Blaire her left hand. "I'm getting married!"

"You're just being over dramatic," Blaire said, sticking her tongue out at Leah.

"Shrimp is the best!" she agreed, nodding and eating another spoonful of her ice cream. "Look? What look? I have a thinking look? Hmm, I didn't know that. I'm thinking, obviously."

Blaire nearly choked on her ice cream when she saw the ring. "What?! You're getting married?! When?! To who?! Eep!" she squealed in delight.

Leah scowled at Blaire and took another bite of her ice cream.

"Yes. Your thinking look is a very thoughtful look. You look so serious. It's really different to the stupid one that's on your face 98% of the time. Whoops! I did not mean to say that," She joked, sticking her tongue out at Blaire.

"I'm getting married. Yes. I don't know yet. To Cain Valerian. He's in the Order and he's also the divination professor at Hogwarts. And, God, Blaire. He's just so amazing," Leah sighed happily, a goofy grin on her face. "Any other questions?"

"Stupid one? Oh, so now I look stupid? Fine, I see how it is," Blaire pouted, turning away from Leah. She then turned back around with a grin on her face.

"Cain Valerian? Yeah, I know him! He seems nice. Amazing, is he? I'm sure he is. You would never marry a guy you weren't completely sure about, you know better than that," she said, beaming at her best friend. "Nope, no more questions!"

Leah giggled and flicker some of her ice cream at Blaire, but missed. "You don't look stupid. You're just always smiling. It's...weird seeing you serious."

Leah's grin grew bigger as Blaire spoke. "It's nice to see you think so highly of me. But, that's not the best part," she said, jumping in her seat. "I want you to be my Maid of Honor!"

"Hah, missed!" Blaire laughed as the ice cream narrowly missed hitting her. "Yeah, I suppose you're right. I just love to smile! I must seem very weird at Order meetings, then. I sorta have to be serious at those."

"Then what might to best part be?" she asked. Her eyes widened and her smile grew bigger as she threw her arms around Leah and gave her a big hug. "Are you serious?! Yes! Absolutely! I would be honoured!"

Leah laughed as she hugged Blaire. Some people were giving them some weird looks, so she flipped them the bird.

"I thinks that's why they call it Maid of HONOR, Blaire," she joked, taking a bite of her ice cream. She noticed she was almost out and pouted. "My poor ice cream. I needs more."

Leah got up and ordered some more ice cream. She came back with steak flavored ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. "This is delicious, B.''

Blaire giggled and rolled her eyes when Leah flipped the people off.

"Whatever floats your boat," she said, yawning. "I haven't a clue why I'm so tired."

"Lemme guess, vomit flavoured?" she teased, eyeing the ice cream. "Kidding. What kind this time?"

"If you're tired, you should sleep. Staying awake causes wrinkles and bags," Leah said, poking just below Blaire's eyes.

Leah pretended to gag and scowled at Blaire. "Of course not! That's just sick! It's steak flavored," she grinned. "With chocolate sprinkles!"

Leah took a big bite out of her ice cream to gross out Blaire. "Want some?"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Blaire said, not really paying attention. Her mind was wandering, or in 'lala land' as some Muggles called it.

"Steak and chocolate? You make me want to throw up," she said, scowling. "What is wrong with you? No I don't want any! Gross!"

"I don't want you to throw up. That's just disgusting," Leah said, wrinkling her nose in disdain. "And, nothing is wrong with me! Godric! Why do you have to think something's wrong with me?"

Taking a bite of her ice cream, Leah glared at Blaire before grinning. ((ooc: MOOD SWING ALERT! lol)) "So, do you have a guy in your life, B?"

"There is definantly something wrong with you," Blaire said sarcastically. "They need to admit you at St. Mungos before you hurt yourself or somebody else."

Her cheeks turned a shade of pink at Leah's question. "I, uh, maybe. Why do you care?"

"Fine, then. Take me to St. Mungo's. But let me finish my ice cream," Leah said, taking a huge bite of her creamy deliciousness.

"There is!" Leah grinned, hopping in her seat. "WHO!?! Tell me. Now," she growled.

"Oh, I will. One of these days..," Blaire trailed off, taking another bite of ice cream.

"David Arterton," she said, cheeks growing even redder. "It's nothing, really. We're just going out for drinks is all."

"Have fun getting me there." Leah winked, taking another bite of her ice cream.

"David...HE'S IN THE ORDER!" she exclaimed. "AND HE'S A PROFESSOR!!!" Leah clapped her hands happily and hugged Blaire. "It is not JUST drinks. It is your first date of many to come."

"Hmm, I'm sure I can get someone to help me. I could always use the body bind curse on you and then force you to go," Blaire mused, smirking.

"Yes, he's in the Order, and yes, he is a Professor. Thank you, captain obvious," she said, rolling her eyes as Leah clapped and hugged her. "Maybe you're right. He really is a sweet guy."

"You wouldn't," Leah challenged, raising her eyebrow.

"You're welcome, Admiral Sarcasm," she grinned. "And, of course I'm right. I am always right. Ask around," she stated, gesturing to the room full of utter strangers.
