Taking Chances

Juliet walked into the quaint little shop more nervous than she would be for anyother place.

There was just something about the phrase "Tea Shop" that some how managed to scream that she would cause more trouble in her than any other kind of store.

Tea cup just seemed so much more delicate than the normal kind. SO of course the girl with two left feet would manage to break them all.

Still...

Taking a deep breath and attempting to remain calm... she decided to brave it and order a drink anyways.

Maybe if she moved very carefully she would be able to...

Someone cut across her path and the young girl flinched, her grip on the glass slipping from her hand and hitting the ground with the expected shatter.

She closed her eyes, and bit her lip, not really wishing to look at the mess she had managed to make.

Tre froze in his path past the girl, he being the one who had brushed past her. "I'm sorry." He apologized. "Here, I've got it." Gold eyes shimmering, he bent down and picked the glass up easily, piling it in his palm and dumping it into the trash.

He stood before her again, looking her over worriedly. "You didn't get hit by any did you?"

J. J. waved a hand, blinking an eye open braving to look at the mess for a moment, only the boy had picked up most of it already, "Don't worry about it; I would have managed to do it on my own at some point in time. You just made me get it out of the way nice and early."

"No," she shook her head, looking down at herself, "No, I don't think I did."

Tre grinned in relief, rising to his full height and grinning at her. "That's good to hear." He said, gold eyes running over her features, just to make sure. "I'm-" He paused, before sighing, a grin tugging at his lips. "Shawn." He introduced.

"Don't worry about it," she gave a little laugh, her blush slowly lessening as the evidence of her complete lack of grace disappeared, "Its nothing I haven't done before; if we were really going for a whole show, I would have dropped it then tripped into the shards."

"Nice to meet you Shawn," she said with a smile, and raiseing her eyebrow at the sigh, "Even if you don't seem to happy about it."
