Personality:

Alexandria grew up being independent and so takes care of herself, or tries to. She is willing to work with others, but she'd rather do things herself and her way if she can help it. However, she will not force someone to do things her way. She is stubborn however at times and once her mind is made up, it's hard to change it. When Alexandria has to deal with something she's afraid of, she typically gets very quiet.

Due to her parent's divorce at a young age, she has negative views of love. She doesn't think she'll ever fall in love, and is happy, but truthfully, she's more afraid of love than anything else. She tries to love and accept everyone, but some people can just get down to Alexandria's nerves. Overall, she's a very nice person who tries her best to be kind to everyone.

Alexandria was born in the Deep South of the United States. Her father and mother had met in Charleston, South Carolina, and there they had wed and brought up a family. Alexandria grew up Charleston till she was five or six. One incident of where a mother made a big deal about her child playing with a colored child forever changed how Alexandria felt about the world. She vowed she'd never judge a person based upon one aspect of their being. Shortly after, Alexandria's mother wanted to return to London where she was originally from.

Upon arriving in London, Alexandria learned she was going to have a little brother soon. She was going to be a big sister and thus she would have to learn to be more independent, which she did. When Allan had been born, Alexandria couldn't have been happier about the birth of her little mixed brother. Her father was white and her mother was black. During the course of three years, Grace and Alex began to fight. It was the simplest of matters, but one could tell their marriage was simply failing. They went to counselors and the such, but their differences were too great.

At the age of nine, Alexandria's parents divorced and this forever altered her childhood view of love and marriage. Around this time, Alexandria showed her first signs of magical abilities. Grace's family had magic in their blood, but Grace had been born non-magical, unlike her mother, Alexandria's grandmother. When Alexandria became invisible in front of Grace, Grace knew where her child would soon be headed. Alexandria had become invisible after wanting to disappear and not go to her father's home a town away. It was every weekend with her father and she had grown tired of it.

A few months later, Grace's grandmother, Sophia, came from to live with Grace. She was going to introduce Alexandria to the magical world. Within a few months, Alexandria experienced the wonderment that was the magical world. Diagon Alley had been a magical journey for her, and then her grandmother took her to see some magical creatures. Alexandria got to see unicorns, dragons, phoenixes, and even hippogriffs. Of course, she only saw the more dangerous ones from a very far, safe distance. Sophia watched as Alexandria had a few incidents of using her powers without meaning to and knew the girl was going to be amazing at Transfiguration. She just hoped she also picked up potions since it was something of a family trait. Grace was merely happy her daughter was happy with being a witch. Sophia of course informed Alexandria about prejudice towards Muggle-born in the wizard and witch community. Alexandria had been appalled to find out such a thing existed, but apparently, racism wasn't as rampant in the witch and wizard communities.

Sophia herself was a pure-blood, but had married a human and had only one daughter where magic had skipped over her. Sophia loved her daughter none the less. Alexandria had to keep her magical life though away from her father. Alexandria decided to not visit as much as she used to since she was prone to accident from time to time. It pained her, but her father took it as her growing up. He had his own life with another woman, but Allan still went to him on the weekends. Grace found it hard to believe he hadn't moved back to the U.S after they divorced, but Allan felt it was his duty to remain in the same country as his children. Overall, Alexandria had a good childhood, but also incidents that shaped her into who she is today.
