Just Haven't Met You Yet

Zach had just gotten off work at the dental cinic and decided to take a walk around Daigon Alley, and possibly get some inspiration for a new painting or just see something he enjoyed.He was okay with either. Standing on the sidewalk the man scanned the alley humming to himself. He was lonely, but when had that ever stopped him before. Looking at all the different storefronts, he couldnt decide on one. All of them just seemed so interesting. What was funny they were the same ones from when he was a student.

Leaning against the wall of the building, half hidden in darkness, was the best way Roul found, for going unnoticed. With his ostenatious leather jacket, and cocky gaze, he seemed to be begging for attention.

And yet, except for some appriciative glaces from the ladies - which he of course returned with a wink - and some head shakes and glares from the more uptight crowd, no one actually paid attention to what he was doing.

Which was watching everyone else.

His gaze flicked to a man humming to himself. He frowned for a moment, allowing his gaze to trail and follow the man, before a smirk grew. He would do quite nicely.

Grabbing a galleon out of his pocket, he pushed himself off the wall and ran after the man.

"Excuse me, excusez-moi," he called allowing his french accent beam through his english, even though he could speak flawless english should he ever want to, "I beg your pardon mais* is this yours?"

He flashed the man his best, charming smile, and held out the coin, looking for all the world as if he really had just picked it up off the ground, not out of his pocket.

Lachlan passed through Diagon Alley having to pick up some books which his sister had ordered, as he made his way down to Flourish and Blotts he saw across the street a man approach another man asking if he had dropped a galleon

Lachlan grew instantly suspicious, and paused for a moment watching the interactions between the two men, something felt wrong here

Zach smiles at the money. A true conversation starter. Zach could not take the poor man's money. Closing the man's hand around the coin, Zach smiled warmly.

"thank you, but i cannot take your money." turning and seeing the other man, zach could literaly feel himself blush. he was handsome. like something you'd find in an art museum

Lachlan was pleased when the other man rejected the strange man's offer, but he couldn't just walk away, he needed to make sure this guy wouldn't be conned by him

Lachlan then jogged arcoss the street and placed his hand on the man's shoulder

"Dylan! there you Marina was getting worried come on lets go" Lachlan said as though he had known this man for ages, he then pulled him along further down the alley, til they were a decent distance away from the other man

"Sorry about that, there was something suss about that guy"

Though startled at first by being suddenly grabbed, and his identity being mistaken, Zach had to laugh when everything was explained. It was nice how this guy had pulled him out of there. Most other people wouldnt have the common decency to do so.

"thanks for that. im zach beckwith by the way, pediatric hygenist at the mclaughlin clinic." he smiles warmly "and you are?"
