Off to see... The wizards?

Riley sat on the Hogwarts Express, suitcase on the floor next to her.
Of course she was alone, she was always a loner. With a prick of unease, she slid the glass door open and peeked out, closing it again and uncomfortably shifting positions.

I don't wanna do this.. But the trains rolling so hell, Blow the whistle.

She looked out the window at everything that was familiar.. but it just didn't seem right..

Robin dragged her heavy suitcase onto the train. She dragged it all the way to a seemingly empty compartment. Yet as she peeked in, she found a young girl peeking through the window through the other side. She jumped back in sudden surprise, causing her to trip on her suitcase and making her fall back. She hope the girl didn't see her.

"Ow," she muttered to herself, "God damn it."

She quickly stood up embarrassingly, hoping that no one saw her trip. She lightly knocked on the door, hoping the girl - who she recognized as a Gryffindor - would let her in, as she would hate to drag her annoying suitcase to another empty compartment far away.

Maybe I could even be friends with her, she thought hopefully.

She was never one to have much friends, instead choosing to curl up in the corner of the library and read a book or two.

Riley noticed a sudden bump as she heard a girl curse under her breath.

She opened the door quietly, "Are you alright?" She asked, helping her up.

"I'm Riley Parker, and you are?"

She looked up at the younger girl who opened the door.

"I'm Riley Parker, and you are?" she heard her say.

"Oh, er, hi. I'm Robin Potter, please to meet you," she said, holding out her hand for the girl named 'Riley' to shake.

The smallest smile known to man managed to seep onto Riley's face, and she shook Robin's hand.

"Pleasure to meet you." She then noticed the girl still had her bag, and wasn't in a compartment yet, "Wanna sit?" she asked, gesturing towards her emptyness.

"Wanna sit?" Riley asked her quietly, gesturing towards the comfortable looking compartment.

She nodded gratefully. "Thanks," I told her, picking up my heavy suitcase again.

"Bloody hell," I muttered quietly to myself, going into the compartment, "what does my mother put in this thing?"

Riley sat down and smiled, looking out thr window once more.

"So uh-- Where you from?"

I looked at her.

"Er... I'm from England,I live near muggle London," I told her, "You?"

I was dead set on making friends with this girl - Riley.

Riley smirked, "Born In France, raised in Ireland." she said simply, and slightly shrugged.

I smiled at her, "that's so cool! I've always wanted to go to Ireland!" I exclaimed excitedly, "But my Dad never had the time, so I'm stuck sneaking off to Diagon Alley and drooling over the books there. Um... I... er- wasn't supposed to say that." I blushed an angry red.

Riley giggled slightly, "It's really nice, But I dunno-- Not my favorite place to be."

She then noticed the girl, robin, was almost as red as a tomato, "you okay?"

She must be a bit embarrassed.. she thought.

"I've always wanted to see England myself."

Robin raised her eyebrows, all thoughts of her red face gone.

"Really?" she asked incredulously, "It's so boring there! All it does is rain, rain, rain, and - will you look at that, rain yet agian!"

She laughed slightly, but it was true. It always rained. Part of her clothing usually was an umbrella everywhere she went!

"I think best when wet, So I don't mind the rain." she said admittingly, and droned on about Ireland.

"Ireland is somewhat foggy at times, but We only get rain once in awhile."

"Fog's cool," she replied, "no one can see you when you trip on air there."

Robin blushed again. She didn't get how she can just ramble on and on about stuff.

"Ireland sounds cool," she said, still fighting the blush, "I once had a muggle friend who was Irish."

Riley smiled, "Well i'm French too, So I can't say I haven't seen alot of places." She said, shrugging.

"I like France, But Ireland is beautiful in the fall."

"Aw, stop making me jealous," Robin whined, playfully shoving her, "I'm gonna try all I can to get my Dad to take us to Ireland next year. And you'll be surprised by who you find on your doorstep..."

She almost gasped, and her smile became slightly forced. Robin was only kidding with Riley but what if Riley took it the wrong way? Instead of saying anything, she blushed again and looked down at her fidgeting hands.

Riley chuckled slightly, and looked around, "Is it just me, or is nobody talking but us?"

It was sort of true, the train was almost silent.

Creepy...

She giggled. "I think it is too quiet in this train," I said, "Maybe they all did a Harry Potter and went to school in a flying car."

It was kind of creepy, to only near the of them talking, and the rest of the world being completely silent.

"Hey, do you know when the trolley lady will come by?" I asked her, checking my watch, "I'm hungry."

As if on cue my stomach gave a low growl.

"I dunno." she said, and clutched her own stomach, silencing it, "I could really go for a chocolate frog.."

As if the Trolley lady was waiting at the compartment door, she knocked on the door and asked, "anything off the trolley, dears?"

Robin quickly jumped up and dug into her pockets, taking out several galleons, "I'll have two chocolate frogs and a packet of every flavor beans," Robin paused for a second before adding, "please."

Riley grinned, holding back a laugh.

"I've never had every flavor beans." she admitted, shrugging, "What do they taste like?"

Robin opened the packet and took a bright blue one and put it in her mouth. This one was a blueberry.

"Any flavor," she replied with a grin, "no seriously. I swear that I once got a rotten egg flavored one. Want one?"

She offered the packet to Riley.

"Rotten egg?" She asked, wrinkling her nose, but grudgingly shrugged, taking a jellybean and putting it in her mouth.

she chewed, crossing her eyes.

"I think this one is.. dirt."

Robin wrinkled her nose slightly.

"My little brother always had more luck than I did," she said, sitting back down again, "He'd always get chocolate or some other cool flavor. But I really like these beans 'cause they give you a challenge, and you have to be careful what you take..."

"Boys, They get all the luck." Riley said, with an agitated smirk.

"So uh, Are we there yet?" Riley asked, anxiously looking out the window.
