Mindless Zombies

Mel walked into her second favorite class from last year and immediately began meditating. When she had calmed her mind, she opened her senses to the room, recognizing old sensations and curiously exploring new ones. She had practiced over the summer before she danced and she was glad now that she had. It helped her mind and her dancing.

Walking into the room from the hallway, Mora smiled, coming to a stop beside the girl. "Hello miss Blanchard." She said, offering a hand to help the girl up. "Today, we have a special lesson planned." Once the young Angelique was standing, the blond moved away, dropping her hand and heading for her bean bag. Picking the thing up, she threw it in the direction of her office, clapping her hands once to clear the floor of the mats.

"I will teach you to mediate... and move." Picking the small radio up, she moved it onto the windowsill, debating the tracks on the cd inside. "You have the look of a dancer. Have you tried dancing and mediating at the same time?"

Mel looked at her teacher with wide eyes. "You can do that? Awesome! I love dancing. It's almost my life!" She hopped up quickly and began bouncing on the balls of her feet in excitement. Best. Class. EVER. she thought.
