Strengths:
- Loyalty, as much as he pretends it doesn't, is one of his best qualities. If he swears he will be nice to a person, he will live by his words. He doesn't take kindly to people breaking promises, whether it be him or any of his friends or any of his enemies.

- For someone like Timothy, perseverance is key. He likes to work hard for what he wants, and even though he does absolutely horrible in lessons if he wants to get a good mark in exams he will do it. He doesn't care that it's probably impossible; he'll do it.

- Confidence is key, and that rings true especially for this boy. He doesn't give a flying seagull about what people think of him, and they either love him or hate him. His confidence also makes him seem seemingly charming.

Weaknesses:
- Sensitivity is not part of Timothy's agenda, and although in some ways it earns him a couple of brownie points, it doesn't in other areas. He doesn't consider other people's emotions, or how they would react if he did anything to them.

- Timothy's got temper wilder than a Fiendfyre. He gets mad not easily, but betray him or do something big to him and rest assured - he will not take it sitting down. He does a lot of things he later regrets when he gets mad. Then again, does he regrets things? I think not.

- Whoa - Florence Oberlin say what?! Indeed - Timothy's biggest weakness is Florence Oberlin, his longtime crush. If anything were to happen to her, he would do anything in his power to help her recover.

Personality:
Let's face it - here we have Timothy McQueen, Cocky Bastard of The Year. He thinks he's got more swagger than anyone out there, and he probably does... if he doesn't do the right thing. He takes pride in what he does, no matter how outwardly stupid it looks. The coy smirk on his face and his broad shoulders - or so he thinks - seems to say it all for him: I Am Titanium. He's a bit of a flirt and likes to flirt with pretty girls, but he's claiming himself 'Forever Reserved for Florence Oberlin'.

Amongst his family members - particularly his brother - he is declared as the most independent of them all. He does everything by himself, without much help unless he really needs it. (Minus chores. Who does chores by themselves unless they were going to die in three days?) Even if he seems like he doesn't give a damn, Timothy does care about his schoolwork; he just prefers not to show his personal thoughts around them.

If he hates someone, he will make his feelings known. He doesn't care if it intimidates or hurts them - who cares about the other people anyway? He has very few friends, but if he does have a friend then he'll give his heart and soul to keep them happy in the most Timothy-way possible. He doesn't like people betraying him, for the consequences are big.

Overall history:
Jacqueline was an idealistic young dancer making her debut in numerous Muggle television shows. She had hopes and dreams, and just like the other dancers she was surrounded with she wanted to be lead dancer in a musical. The problem was, although she could act reasonably well, and her dancing skills were in top shape - she couldn't sing for toffee! She tried and went to singing lessons with the best coaches she could afford... but it seemed that it had only gotten worse.

Enter Azarius McQueen, vocalist of a band named The Hectic Glow. They weren't the most famous in the Muggle world, but they had a steady, growing fanbase that kept their records selling. He met a moody Jacqueline in the Leaky Cauldron one autumn night, and it was then that they became friends, Azarius teaching Jacqueline how to sing, and Jacqueline teaching her newfound friend how to 'groove.' It was too soon that they became closer than friends, and after a kiss on New Year's Eve their friendship halted.

At least, for a while. Three months later, Azarius came to Jacqueline's apartment asking for her hand in marriage. As sudden as it was, she accepted.

They had their first son, Damian, when The Hectic Glow were having a concert in Lancaster. Literally. Jacqueline broke into labour in the middle of one of their concerts. Even though their baby turned out fine, Azarius was scared that his family may interrupt his career and it was then that he chose his family over his love of music.

Clearly, not everyone was happy.

In the subsequent years after his retirement from the music industry, the McQueen family received more hate mail than they could possibly handle. It eventually broiled down to a lawsuit, which meant that the McQueen family could not receive mail from people they didn't know, and all mail that they do end up receiving must be first scanned by a special company.

Timothy was born the day before the end of the lawsuit victory.

That was why he was so revered as a child; he was born at perfectly the right time, which meant he resembled winning and positive connotations towards the McQueen family. This is why he became so cocky as he grew older; he's used to being showered with attention and being revered as some sort of God. He was extremely pampered; getting the toys he wanted all the time.

As cruel as it sounds, Timothy doesn't love his family as much as he does his cousin Kaci. He finds her personality very refreshing compared to the by-the-book parents he has. After all, he was merely a toddler when he met her, on the verge of being considered a child. And he really thought that he deserves some fun. And what he considered fun was not reading books and having pop quiz marathons.

Timothy skipped nursery and went straight for Foundation One. He settled in with the other children... reasonably well. He had already started displaying signs of magic by that age, and sometimes he might make food talk or make the paintbrushes move, and that definitely scared the other students from talking to him. He had to switch schools for Foundation Two because he felt so alone and he hated being scared of.

Year One marked the end of an old era and the beginning of a new one, for the young boy. At the age of six, Timothy had decided to grow his hair so that he looked older, and he completely changed his attitude in an attempt to shield himself from the insecurities and the 'deeper' side of him, so people won't attack him emotionally anymore. Sure, he had the occasional outburst of magic - but did they dare to spite him any longer? No.

His biggest interest was not how his magic came from, or his studies, or his eternal love of dinosaurs. Alas - it was a girl named Florence Oberlin, who was shy as hell, but to him she had the most beautiful brown hair, and the sweetest eyes.

Too bad she didn't talk to him often.

Another of his friends was Stephen Daley, one of the only people he knew from kindergarten. He was once scared of Timothy, but after the transformation he had seen when the boy entered primary school, who didn't want to be his friend? Unlike the other boys, however, Stephen had the determination, and the quirkiness to make it as one of the McQueen son's closest friends.

It all changed in fourth year, when Stephen commited a Romeo & Juliet (hint: the Nurse) though it was of another subject. One day, Timothy had entrusted Stephen with a secret: plans for a party where only the Desirables - the people the two boys actually like - could go. However, what the cockier of them both didn't know is that Stephen has had enough of Timothy's games and schaudenfreude. So he had erected an army of Undesirables to crash his party.

The party was crashed, and the results were disastrous. Not only did the Undesirables cause a mess, they nearly destroyed the McQueen property. Walls were cracked and filled with holes. Spaghetti ended up on the floor. Shards of broken glass lay across the wall, stuck with honey. The goldfish bowl had a popsicle in it as well.

It was then that Stephen Daley died a painful social death.

Year Six was a time of change. Not only was he physically changing, he was mentally changing too. Everything seemed too childish and too boring for him, like he was meant for better things. The cause was simple: the SATs were coming up, and Timothy McQueen could not fail them. Not only could he not fail them, he must excel in them. He knew he was going to Hogwarts and there were no need of SAT results to attend it. No matter, he had thought, and he had worked hard to obtain his results.


In Hogwarts, he had been hoping so much to avoid Florence, but he couldn't. For she was there too, and he seemed to stumble upon her, everywhere. He wonder how he couldn't have noticed her magic...

On the other hand, it was there that Timothy turned into a snarky child into a full-fledged flirt, learning the art from older boys who were willing to taught him, and girls willing to be his test subjects (though they had fun doing it). It's truly ironic to see that out of all the girls he'd dated, as amazing as they are, they are not the one he wanted all his life: the shy fifth year Hufflepuff with the artistic dreams.
