by It was a dark, rainy day out in the City of Azorat. It was fitting, for what a short, walking figure was about to do. The cloaked figure had a snake wrapped around the throat, with it's eyes downcast. With the slouch the figure and the snake had, you could tell they were grieving.
Kait walked into the tattoo parlor, with dull brown eyes. The person working there at the person gave her a wary glance, and passed her a book full of tattoo designs.
"I don't need it." The red head's voice sounded rough, as if it hadn't drank water in a while. Or cried a lot.
Passing over a picture of a snake, Kait told him that she wanted the tattoo around her neck. Kait knew it probably was going to be painful, but she didn't care. It would be nothing compared to the loss of Laith.
With Gray Moon curled up in her lap, the man worked on the tattoo. Kait cried, but not because of the pain. It was because the reason why she was getting this tattoo.
Liath was never coming back.
