As she moved fearlessly into striking range, the tree did just that, a great thick branch swinging forward to hit her directly even as others moved to sweep her feet from under her. Only the tree didn't strike her, at all. It's movement came to an abrupt halt a few short inches from her, wood groaning in response.
Aria smiled, a hand pressing a leafy branch against her face. "Hello," she murmured. The girl hadn't even flinched from the violent actions of the tree. There was no need to. She, too, was crafted of earth; it would not harm her.
