Personality: Kate Laurell is very kind and sweet. Kate is the peace maker kind of girl and hates it when her friends fight. She strives to be as positive as she can. She is extremely loyal to her friends and hates to disobey her parents. If she gets in trouble by her parents or teachers its like they just slapped her in the face. Kate is very smart and gets incredible grades in almost all her classes. She can be very protective of her family.

Normally Kate is very poised, kind and sweet. If someone is rude to her friends, family or herself she stands up for herself and shows them they shouldn't have messed with her. Kate is very fierce when this certain situation happens, and she always tells herself to never back down. Never show the enemy weakness. Some bad quality's about Kate is that she can get very jealous. This jealousy leads up to her comparing herself to others thinking she's not good enough. She's worried what people think of her and is scared that all those whispers are negative things about her. She wished she was like some people who just shrugged it off and ignored them, but it seems so hard for Kate.
All in all Kate has a good heart. She's kind and sweet and is not afraid to stand up for herself protecting everyone she loves.

Overall History: We'll start in the beginning. Claire and Connor met in Hogwarts and went through family drama, and friend drama. If Claire needed a "date" to the dance Connor would take her. They fell in love and got married having two kids, Kate and Mike. Kate was born in London, England. As she grew up her parents showed her magic for she was pureblood. Her father taught her how to do easy small spells correctly. When Mike was born, Kate and Mike played with magic together and both of them were fascinated by how wonderful magic was.

Connor soon caught a horrible fever. He could barely move for weeks and weeks and soon months. Their father had barely been eating and was coughing up blood. Claire fretted over him, she had already called for professional help but the fever seemed to be incurable. Connor got worse barely responding and not eating or drinking. That night he died in his sleep causing much grief to Claire and her kids.
When Kate's father died she vowed to herself that she would protect her family. After Connor's death things got even worse. Their mother got terribly depressed and when Kate talked to her, Claire just mumbled that if she died she would be with Connor.

Their mother grew unresponsive and Kate desperately tried to make her eat. At the moment she is still alive with Kate desperately trying to save her life. She has to worry about making sure her brother is alive and healthy, and she has to go to Hogwarts at the same time. (She relies on their grandma who also knows about magic and went to Hogwarts, to watch over Claire)
In Kate's neighborhood she has a couple of friends but not many since most of the kids her age think shes weird as well as her family. She really doesn't mind and in her free time she loves to draw, write, read, or hang out with her little brother Mike. Kate knows she has to be strong to support her whole family before it all comes crumbling down.
