Let it Snow

Snow fell around her, distracting her from the enviroment she was in. She supposed the way that it drifted, almost peacfully, and reflecting the soft glow of the street lights made it almost beautiful. Hate was the usual emotion she saved for all things winter. But maybe... just maybe... she could learn to like snow, just a little bit.

It even almost tickled, when it landed on her skin, the temperature melting the particales long before they could really make her feel cold. It was really... almost magical.

And she supposed, even in a life of a witch, she needed something... something that seemed magical. Not just was, when magic was all around you the things that should be amazing, just being to not be so.

But something really, astounding. Something so... magical, even magic couldn't make it less special.

Ashleen was staring to wonder, if maybe snow was one of those things.
