A tiny little smile tugged on the woman's face, the first one in days, as she watched the bird fly around, chirping. The Phoenix was beautiful, and even if she felt - well terrible, it still managed to make her feel better.

Settling herself back down in her seat, she pulled her robes closer to her, her eyes never straying from the majestic bird.

Mel walked into Magical Beings class, a new one for her. She gasped at the brilliant Phoenix sitting on the teacher's desk. "He's magnificent," she whispered. She sat at her desk, still staring. She pulled out quill, ink, and parchment without once taking her eyes from the bird.

Korrie walked into the room and looked at the professor and gave her a wave. "Hello Amelie and professor" Korrie said. She stopped dead in her tracks when she realized there was a bird in the cage. Korrie realized it was a Pheonix, then she remembered the lesson was on them. She took a seat.
