*Eileen Dedworth*

if it weren't for the boogeyman in me closet!
"Me Da always says I'd take over the world
if it weren't for the boogeyman in me closet!
Name: Eileen Dedworth
Date of Birth: December 14, 1980
Birthplace: "I was born on the Island of Inishmurray. Me Mum was taking a holiday there and I unexpectedly decided to show my pale little face!"
Current Home: "Me Da and I live in a small cottage in Balinfull, raising a few goats and growing all the potatoes, nettle, and fanged geraniums we can."
Blood Purity: Half Blood
Gender: Female
Body type: Pretty tall, not too skinny, curves like her mother had. Pale with good strong bones under her skin.
Height: 5 feet and 11 inches.
Hair: Her long red hair was something she always had. Her trademark around town, really. "Oh here comes that red headed child with the healing nettles. Quick! Get in the house!" Her Da always told her the length of it should and would stay long. But the second Eileen got to Hogwarts she chopped it off, having experienced quite the tangle running towards what she thought was a patch of Gilly Weed on the banks of the lake. Now it sits at her ears, still red as can be.
Eyes: Green
Unique features: That red hair draws enough attention, thank you very much!
Dressing style: "Ma always said a girlish figure should flaunt it with a pretty dress, so that's what I'll be wearing. I've never been one to get too gussied up but my white cotton gowns do just fine. Sometimes when I'm in the garden I'll put my tall boots on, oh they go up to my knees. I'll wear a flowey blouse, get my hands dirty. I love the dirt! So I guess you could say it, yeah, I like to wear dirt too!"
Likes: Herbs and gardening, long walks, reading big books, and eating just about all the citrus fruit she can find.
Dislikes: People who judge the happiness of others, soda pop, charms, rude boys and wizard chess (mostly because she never wins).
Fears: Being eaten by sharks, running into a criminal and millipedes!
Strengths: Thoughtfulness, quick wit and knowledge of magical plants.
Weaknesses: Stubbornness, forgetting her manners, and often times a heavy accent that confuses others.
Personality: Eileen Dedworth is just a potato farmers daughter, and most of the time she's acting like it. As children do, she wanders a lot, one time wandering so far from home she had to spend the night next to a rock on a cliff before setting out for home again! But when she returned the next day with enough ragwort and cone flower to heal a village she was forgiven quickly.
Eileen isn't a trouble maker, she's just curious and spirited. Always the cheery disposition, her heart is constantly giving and her mouth just won't stop running! If it were up to her she'd be Head Healer at St. Mungo's. But for now she'll do what girls do best; scrape their knees, get their hands a bit dirty, and see what else she can learn about the big world she's growing up in.
Father: Bartley Dedworth, 44 years old, alive and well, dwelling in a small farm house in Balinfull. Mr. Dedworth runs a modest business of selling his large potatoes to the Carney O'Beirne grocers a few miles south of Balinfull. Bartley was born muggle, wielding no magical powers.
Mother: Agnes Sommerby Dedworth, deceased for 3 years now, was a pure blood witch and hid the truth about her powers from her family. It wasn't until her death at the tender age of 41 that distant relatives came to Bartley and his daughter, telling them she was a skilled Witch and Animagus. It was then that Eileen learned of Hogwarts and the importance of carying on the magic of the Sommerby Dedworth name.
Siblings: No siblings known.
Pets: It wasn't until recently that Eileen put two and two together. On long walks, wandering away from home without recollection, Eileen would often be accompanied by a friendly red haired rabbit. She didn't know where a red haired rabbit could have come from but it followed her on very far occasions, once all the way to Doonfore. But when her mother died Eileen searched for the rabbit that comforted her on those lonely walks and she could not. It was then, learning of her mothers ability, of magic and what an Animagus was, that she realized it was her mother all along. Her mother protecting her, watching her, making sure she stayed safe so far from home and, perhaps, grabbing at one more chance to be with her little girl.
Overall history: Eileen Dedworth. Daughter of Bartley and Agnes Dedworth. Growing up, Eileen spent most of her time with her parents, not really understanding how to reach out to other children without being awkward or strange. It felt safer to stay near those she knew. Eileen's mother believed in freedom and travel and encouraged her child to explore every nook and cranny of her mind. Her father was a homebody, staying in his garden with his dirt and spuds. Eileen gained the traits of both her family members. Now, with the idea of who her mother really was, and an even better idea of who she herself was, Eileen Dedworth travels, traverses, and meanders in search of life's next endeavor.
