Lena looked through the books, thumbing through them as carefully as a prima ballerina. It was the third leather tome she had scanned through that night, yet she found nothing. She was sure that it was the right section, the right shelf... yet she found nothing.

The blonde found a volume that looked promising as it was dusty and unused, and she smirked as she opened it. Her instincts were right; there was a scroll inside. She put the book back in place, and Lena sat on the nearest chair, unrolling the scroll.

Port Durmstrang, it had been a long time since the man had last used this area as sanctuary. One of the first places he had hidden away, before he was forced to run again, realizing the proximity it held to the magical school, the magical community made it far too likely a place to come searching.

Now, of course, he wasn't really trying to hide at all. In his heart he briefly wondered if he was trying to get caught. And if that was so, what did he think he was gaining?

Hands in the pocket of his coat, whistling a merry tune as he went he pulled open the door to the closest building and was surprised to find books inside.

Frowning he stuck his head back outside, glanced at the sign he had formally ignored, shrugged and laughed, returning back to the building and his whistling.

As he crossed the isles, he caught sight of a young girl, good looking to be sure, but a bit too young, even for his low moral standards. Still, that didn't mean he couldn't strike up a conversation.

"Isn't a place like this a little dull? Don't children at least pretend not to care about their future anymore?"
