A little Walk to Pass the Time

Collin wanted to talk a walk in the garden today it seemed like the perfect outing. He had something that he had been wanting to give to Kassidy, kind of like a thank you gift for being his friend, girlfriend, just being there for him when he need it.

He waited for her in the front of the school hoping she didn't get held up.

Kass was to be done for the day. That meant that she could spend time with Collin. It seemed like she was doing a lot now. Collin had become her world. But she didn't care about it. She loved it now that they was going out. Sometimes she would think about Casey. But she was sure that he would want her to be happy.

But she grinned when she seen that Collin was standing there waiting for him.

Collin was glad when Kass finally came out and joined him and that was when he offered her his arm for him to take.

"So my dear how were the rest of your classes?"

Collin was leading her to a special spot he had picked just for them.

"Mine were a little dismal I might say, I like them when they challenge me a little bit."

Kass smiled when she was finally with Collin again. She then took his arm and was following him where he was going to take her.

“ I guess the rest of my classes where alright.”

She knew that he was taking her to THERE spot.

“ Oh I am sorry to here about that. I am sure that everything will be better when summer gets here. I mean you are welcomed to spend it with me.”

Collin had lead her over to the tree they had found last year and he sat down and offered his hand to help her sit down between his legs.

"Well I am sure I would love to spend the summer with you, maybe your mom will just let me stay permanently. I don't know if I can stand to go home."

Kass smiled as they was at their tree. She then took his hand as he helped her sit on the ground. Kass loved it when she was close to Collin.

“ I am glad that you are excited to spend the summer with me.” He then said something about her mom letting him stay with them permanently. “ Oh I am sure that we could see. I mean it gets lonely just the two of us.”

Collin caught himself starting to play with her hair braiding it,

"Well anyplace has got to be better than my place." Collin sighed

Collin continued to play with her hair this was something he discovered he liked to do. He had learned some spells to do with hair too. He had no clue why he even wanted to do that for.

"I am sure your mother might get sick of seeing my face every day."

Kass smiled as Collin was braiding her hair. She really liked it when he would play with her hair.

“ You know that you are welcome to come to our house and stay.” She hoped that this meant that he would come live with her.

She continued to let Collin play with her hair. It was very relaxing and sometimes would put her to sleep.

Kass grinned. “ No I really don't think so.”

Collin finished with the braid and smiled at his work and pulled her back to him.

"Are you trying to tell me that you want me to come and live with you permanently?" Collin wondered "What if we get into a fight and you end up hating me then what will I do?"

Kass grinned when she knew that he finished the braid. And when he pulled her closer to him.

“ Yes I want you to come and live with us permanently.” He then brought up what if they got into fights. “ Well I would throw a couple of hexes at you then you would come begging me for forgiveness.”

Collin hugged her tightly when she said to live there permanently and then laughed when she talked about throwing hexes and forgiveness.

"Excuse me miss, but I believe we have had this conversation and that I do not beg for forgiveness. You will be begging me to forgive you for hexing me." Collin said then kissed her cheek.

Kass grinned as Collin hugged her back. She loved the fact that he would be living with her permanently. But she then tilt her head when he started to laugh when she said talk about throwing hexes and forgiveness.

“ Oh I really think you would be begging me. Remember the next time I am sick I will do to you what I did to Julian in the hospital wing. I will throw up on you.” That is when she started to grin. And was still grinning when he kissed her check.

"Oh my dear a little puke will not phase me, I will just clean it up and move on."

Collin smiled as he thought about things, "I believe you will be begging me when you realize that I will never beg. In fact our children will learn early on it does not do well to beg."

Collin cannot believe that he just mentioned children, he couldn't remember if they had ever mentioned children before let alone being married.

Kass then couldn't help but laugh. “ Yes I know that but you know you would try and make me feel better. Remember when I was in the hospital wing. And you climbed into the bed with me and was holding me.”

She then rolled her eyes. “ Oh I am sure that I can get you to beg. And that will be my goal.” Kass then was listening how he was going to teach their children not to beg. “ It really doesn't hurt anything. I remember begging my parents when I was little for small things. Candy, toys, wanting to go somewhere.”

Kass was sure that they never had brought up marriage before. At least she didn't think they did. And this was the first time bringing up having children.

"Well its my job to make you feel better." Collin said as he pulled he into him tightly and kissed her temple.

When Kass said that it didn't hurt anything to beg he almost started to cry in her back, it hurt a lot in his house if they were to beg. Once again something reminded him of the brother he had lost.

"It can hurt a lot." Collin said very softly and buried his head in her back.

Kass smiled when Collin said that it was his job to make her feel better. She then grinned when he pulled her into a hug and kissed her temple.

She found no reason why it was wrong to beg. Kass did it growing up and seen no reason why she couldn't teach her children. But she could tell that she had hurt him.

“ Im sorry for saying that.” She then felt Collin put his head on her back.

Collin just help on tighter to Kass, it really was not her fault that she said what she said. In normal life she would be right, but not in his world.

"Kass its not your fault, Casey and I were never allowed to beg. Begging is a sign of weakness and if we did we were beat."

Kass loved how Collin was hold her tightly. She really didn't understand how his life and hers was all that different. And she knew that she loved Collin and would try and understand it better.

She was shocked when Collin told her that he would get beat if they beg. “ Who could do that to their child? I would never want to be like that.”

Collin sighed as he thought of how to answer Kass,

"You have known me long enough how can it not surprise you that my father is that way. He totally disowned Casey, and now Casey is gone and he is happy." Collin felt the tears starting to fall again.

"God I wish I wasn't so weak."

Kass then was watching Collin. And she knew that it was hard for him to talk about some things.

She then listened to him talk about his father. And how he disowned Casey and that his father was happy that he was going. And then Collin then started to cry, so she then hugged him and rubbed his back. “ No father should be happy that their child is dead. Because that is there flesh and blood. For all I care your father can go suck a nut.”

“ This isn't a sign of weekness. It a sign that you care.”

Collin could not believe Kass mouth there for a minute and she had actually made him smile.

"Suck a nut, now that is just too funny. I would love to see the look on my fathers face when you said that too him." Collin laughed

"Well not too people people actually know how much I care." Collin sighed.

Kass then watched Collin's face when she said that. And it seemed that he was smiling. Which was a good thing.

" I would tell him that to his face. I am not scared of him.

She grinned. " You know that I love you and care for you."
