Katerina thought it wise to clear her head of all thoughts as soon as she walked into Mental Magics. The professor would, likely, wait until the rest of the students arrive to start class, but one could never be too sure. Who knew? Maybe a surprise attack was part of the class.

And so, she concentrated on emptiness and nothing, a big wall prepared in case someone tried to invade.

"Well done," Ethon broke the silence in bored tone. He was leaning against the front of his desk - which he hadn't been the moment before. "Twenty points for being the only of my students to arrive on time as begin meditation as has been instructed of your year and up.

"It would appear that your classmates have either deigned not to arrive or have dropped. No matter, we will begin."

He moved away from his desk to slowly pace the front of the room, his footfalls rhythmic in a manner than may have been intentional. "Tell me about influences."
