Personality:
Despite her youthful features, Eerika does not carry that youth into her heart. Her mind and soul has been hardened by her mother's neglect, and she does not ask for help easy. She likes to do things her way, and is very independent.

Eerika does not consider danger often, if at all. If she needs to go into a dangerous branch of magic to complete an assignment she will do it without a second thought. After all, there is nothing better for her than to let adrenaline run through her veins.

Overall history:
Although she was born into a suburban, middle class family, Eerika was born under unsatisfactory circumstances. Days after her mother realized she was pregnant, Topias Niinijoki died due to a car crash; he was drunk. A fight had ensued before concerning the matter of Topias's feelings about the unborn child, and that Eerika should have been aborted.

The moment she was born, Eerika received a negative response. Her mother had begged for the child to be taken away from her, and after some legal negotiations Agnes got what she wanted. Both Elli and Eerika ended up being taken into custody by Agnes's sister Loretta, a kind gentle soul that raised both girls like her own children.

During her childhood, Eerika took her relationship with her mother into her own hands. Often she would visit her mother after school. Agnes, who now took up her maiden name, blamed the poor girl about everything that had happened to her husband. One morning, when Eerika was about ten, she snapped.

It ended with Agnes's admission to Furmage, and Eerika's slit neck.

Eerika tried to forget about her mother's attack when she became a Slushatel in Durmstrang, and she did. For seven years, she could pretend all that was left of her family was her aunt and her sister. At least, until she left the safe confinements of Durmstrang for good...
