Alexandra glanced at Minos as she leaned against the door. This was the day she had been waiting for for the past two months. "I've got him easy for you," she laughed. She glanced at him before going back to the door.

"Make it quick and quiet," snapped the former Angelique. She held his shirt and kissed his cheek before pushing him away. "I can't have people knocking on the door at this time of day."

Minos glanced at his lover before mildly pushing the door open to reveal his very unconscious victim, Luc Benoit. His fingers brushed over the pale skin, the Hitrost glancing at his cold lips. He nodded, and withdrew his dagger from his pocket.

He held the hilt of his dagger, the sharp edge digging into Luc's skin. He paused, before slicing his dagger across the man's neck, the snap of nerves and capillaries surrounding the room as the head fell onto the floor. A pool of blood gathered beneath him, and Minos backed away from the severed body.
