Personality: Despite being human Darke has a tendancy to be very dark just as his name suggests. Having been brought up by a demon he's become less than human over the years, finding it easier to manipulate humans (after being around demons for most his life he considers himself one of them) to do his bidding rather than make friends with them.

Of course being surrounded by the supernatural does have it's perks and Darke has picked up a few skills along the way. He is able to read peoples fears and use them against them to get what he wants. He simply has to look at a person to know what makes them afraid and from there he can draw on their fear to fuel himself like an energy source.

He is very dedicated to his master and the very word failure doesn't exist in his vocabulary. Just the thought of failing his cause makes him want to kill.

Overall history: There's not a lot you can say about Darkes younger years because honestly he can't remember them. The first thing he remembers is being picked up off the streets by a man he now knows is a demon by the name of Djinn. It was this demon who went on to bring him up and taught him everything he knows to this day, taking everything he knew and brainwashing him to think as he wanted him to. Taking the human child and turning him almost demonic.

He grew up under the protection of the guardians, where ever they moved him he obeyed and followed because Djinn demanded it and there was nothing more than he wanted to do than to please Djinn. Training came whenever Djinn did and Darke was always eager to prove himself. Despite being human amongst a bunch of demons he wanted to prove he was strong enough to fit in with their group and often picked fights with some of the lower demons to prove his point.

Darke still till this day thinks he owes a lot to this man so much so that his loyalty is unwavering, there is nothing he wouldn't do to prove his loyalty to the demon. Now he seeks nothing but the approval of his master and the brand to make him an official part of his army.
