Redecorating

Etta hummed as she re-stacked the papers on her husband's desk, the last of the things to be organized in his room. Soft brown eyes lingered on the moving portrait of the two on their wedding day, her still round with the twins. Her fingers smoothed the neat silk blouse over her now-flat stomach, a small sense of loss at the feeling of being alone. It was the first time she had left the twins alone since her 'vacation' - or, as many thought of it, her kidnapping - and the worry was starting to wear at her. That was the real reason for this redecoration. Stowing her wand away, she sat atop the desk, fingers running over the oak as she waited for Basi's meeting to be over.

She had left small touches in his room, a small vase of flowers sat on an end table near the entrance, flowers of the same kind weaved into a makeshift crown sat atop her head. Light brown hair sparkled in the waning sunlight as she turned to watch the sun sink below the horizon.

Leaning against the door frame of his office, Basil casually took in the sight of his wife sitting on his desk. She was the most beautiful creature to ever walk the planet in his eyes and he had seen his fair share of beautiful beings. As he moved to approach Etta he took in the office around him. It was much neater than before. He was no slob but some things just needed a woman's touch.

His arms snaked around Etta and he pressed a kiss to her lips. "Hello there, gorgeous. Sorry my meeting went a little late. I had to deal with some items." He buried his nose in her hair and inhaled the aroma of the flowers combined with his wife's unique scent. "I love you," the man sighed gently.

A bubble of happiness grew in her chest as she heard his voice, her gaze sliding to him once he stepped forward. Arms winding around his neck, she pulled him closer, kissing back softly. "I love you too." She murmured, running her fingers through his hair.

"Spice?" She asked, twirling a lock of blond hair around her finger. She leaned closer, bringing her lips to his ear. "Hypothetical question? How distracted would you be from your job if we..." She pressed a soft kiss to the crook of his neck, tongue flicking out to tease his skin. "...in your office?"

The King purred deep in his chest at his beloved's warm greeting. She always had the ability to make everything better. His thoughts turned to the twins as Etta began to tease him. Would she want to... No. No. It was a ridiculous notion. Still... She was making the offer of some fun.

"I think if we did it would make working in this room a great deal more... pleasurable," Basil rumbled. Biting his bottom lip in thought he nuzzled his wife's neck. "Kitten... I know we only just had the twins recently but I find I really enjoy being a father and you know you always look so beautiful and I was wondering..." He was rambling again so he just cut to the gist of his thought. "I was wondering if we could have another baby."

"Mmm?" She hummed, mouth tracing down his throat to his collarbone as her hands slid over his shoulders. She paused slightly, pulling away to meet his eyes. "So soon?" She asked, cocking her head to the side. "Trust me on this one, Basi. You want the twins out of diapers first. You haven't even had to deal with them as two year olds yet. Not to mention teenagers. Pepper is already thinking about climbing the furniture."

She leaned forward and brushed her lips against his, the kiss slow and full of tenderness. "You may want to wait until you've been a father a bit longer. I don't want you overwhelmed."

Returning the kiss with all the love and affection he could muster. "I've found that being a father is really no different from being a king, like you said. The only difference is that my children aren't going to be inclined to carrying out my every order. I'll trust you about this, since you have more experience than I, but I hope we'll eventually be blessed with many more children."

"However, at the moment, I am currently in the middle of imagining a naked woman sprawled across my desk experiencing copious amounts of pleasure," he rumbled nipping lightly at her earlobe. "Get in some practice for later. Does that sound like an adequate plan to you, my sexy little kitten?"

"You never do learn all there is about being a parent." Etta murmured softly. "It's a learning experience every day, Spice." She ran her fingers through his hair, biting his lower lip and smirking slightly. "And that better not be just any woman you're imaging sprawled across your desk."

Melting beneath his touch, Etta smiled. "Practice makes perfect, after all."

"No one but you," he whispered, slipping his fingers underneath his wife's blouse and caressing the skin of her sides, fingers ghosting across the surface. "Never anyone but you."

Basil's lips found Etta's neck and he peppered it with tiny nips, licks, and kisses, lips and teeth just barely grazing the sensitive surface of the skin. It was hard to contain himself when he was around his wife but he had enough sense in between his moving lips and wandering hands to ensure that the door was locked and warded. Nothing was going to distract him from lavishing attention on this woman. Not even if all of Beauxbaton was burning to the ground around them.

"You're so beautiful," the Headmaster murmured, his lips hardly moving as he began to work towards Etta's clavicle.
