Florence looked down at herself. What had she done? She had turned into sweet Florence Oberlin before the year began and not only had she had a crush on Hyun and Timothy, she had dated Tshering until they decided to break up. Actually, Tshering decided to break up. Florence was damn worried now. Maybe she was still in love with Chuck. Or Oliver. Maybe both.

So this was what gossiping did to people, Florence thought. She didn't like to gossip and she preferred to draw but she suddenly had a need to talk about people and what they were up to. She hated this new self. She hated it so much.
