Kait observed the Tattoo artist as he worked on his latest art: A raven on the inside of Kait's left wrist. In its claws, it held a Caduceus- a greek symbol for the God of Apollo. With her Greek heritage, the gods meant a lot to Kait. It was a symbol of her ancestry. The Caduceus also meant healing, or health, so it meant that Kait was getting better. And Kait always had liked Ravens, so why not.

There was pain as the tattoo artist worked on the tattoo of course. But Kait only bit her lip. That was the only sign of weakness she showed. As he finished it, he gave her a grin. "Any more beautiful?" The brunette rolled her eyes, and smoothed the healing cream he handed her onto her wrist. She didn't look up as the door rang, signaling a new customer.

"Possibly, but do you know a charm to animate my snake tattoo?" Kait questioned, curious. The tattoo artist nodded. "It will cost some money."

"Money isn't a problem. Just go ahead and do it and add it to my bill." He nodded and waved his wand, muttering several words under his breath. After a few moments, the snake around her neck moved her head and wriggled her body. "Hello Liath," Kait murmured fondly. It was no replacement of her snake, but it eased the grief.

Paloma had been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while now. Every time she passed by the shop, she'd gaze inside and dream of the day she'd gather up the courage to walk in. Getting them hurt, she was aware of that. And they lasted forever.

For those reasons, and the fact that she didn't want simply some random thing inked on her body, she decided to take her time. If she wanted meaning, she would wait until she got it.

When she passed by the shop this time, however, she stopped. It wouldn't hurt just to look, right?

Her eyes, as she walked in, gazed over the girl the tattoo artist was working on and found a stash of books, in which she figured there were designs and ideas for tattoos. "I'm just going to take a look," she called out, quietly, and opened one of the books, flipping through the pages.
