Personality: Ian is kind of a jackass to be blunt. He was born into wealth, in both the magical and the non-magical world. Because of this, he thinks himself to be above everyone else. Being the child of two extremely wealthy and powerful people having it's perks.

He's an extremely spoiled brat, if you want to say it another way. He hates being told no about something, and will do what he has to, in order to get what he wants. He's not afraid of breaking the rules, blackmailing people, or buying them out. He is the kind to believe that because he has the money, he can do what he likes. Most of the time, he's correct.

Overall history: Ian's father is the CEO of an international real estate agency. He built it from the ground up, and because of it has made billions of dollars. His mother, is a musician, known for her skills on the violin in the wizarding world. The two met by accident, eating at one of their favorite restaurants. His mother always did enjoy muggle food from time to time. Several years later, the two became married and had Ian.

It was just after Ian was born, that Alyssa revealed to her husband that she was a witch, but Liam cared not. They loved one another, and intended to put everything aside and raise their son in both worlds. They succeeded, he went to a prestigious school in Manhattan, and when he came of age and found his magical gifts, went to another school to help with that.

As he grew older, Ian came immersed in the party lifestyle. Drinking at his age, drugs, going to clubs. More than once, he had found himself arrested. His parents were beyond disappointed to say the least. They never managed to rid him of his urge to do this however, no matter what they tried.

Ian found himself as Beauxbatons, the most prissy magical school that was available to him. Most likely, in an attempt by his parents to make him become a good student, a more trustworthy and honorable child. It wouldn't work.
