lesson one (third year)

David's third year lesson had come round quickly, and he was excited to see the familiar faces of his class again.

Sitting on top of his desk with his legs crossed, he waited for the students to arrive.

"Good morning, Professor Arterton!" Cepheus said happily as he walked into the Muggle Studies classroom. He had always liked this class, and the teacher was brilliant. Muggles were really interesting, and learning about them just heightened that interest for Cepheus. "Great to see you again!" He grinned.

Lacey walked swiftly to the classroom and slipped in the through the open doorway. She couldn't help the excited smile on her face. Her parents had no idea she was taking such a class, and would definitely not approve if they did. But despite the slight fear of her parents finding out, she was more excited and curious about what she'd learn. Muggles were interesting things.

"Hello, Professor." she murmured as she slid into an empty desk, nearly bouncing in excitement.

Diane peeked through the door and entered slowly.

"Good Morning Professor," she said, facing her mentor. "I'm Diane Scamander. Third Year Gryffindor."
