Stardust [Annabeth]
Nat sat quietly near the clock tower, looking around the courtyard for anything interesting. She hadn't seen her friend in ages, and she couldn't wait to finally see her and how she's changed.

Re: Stardust [Annabeth]
Anna hasn't seen Nat Bat in ages. We're best friends, she thought. Something major must have happened to make her miss the train.
Seeing her best friend near the Tower, she made her way towards her, her brown hair flying behind her. It made her feel calm, the breeze.
"Nat Bat!" she greeted merrily. "How have you been?"

Nat turned around to see her best friend greeting her, as she was busy picking the grass. She beckoned Anna to sit next to her.
"I'm fine," she smiled. "I'm more worried about you, Annie."

Anna laughed emptily at Nat's reply. She knew that she was hiding something, even under that laugh.
"I'm perfectly fine," Anna smiled. "And I told you that Annie makes me sound like a five-year-old."

Nat shook her head. She didn't like how stubborn Anna was sometimes. But that was how Anna was to her.
"I have no choice but to agree," she sighed. "Truth is, Mum lost herself on the way here and it took ages for us to find Hogsmeade. That's why I was so late."

Re: Stardust [Annabeth]
Nat shook her head, putting an arm around her best friend. Anna has always got the right words to make her feel good, and that was partly why she could stand her.
"It is?" she whispered. "Didn't you make any friends?"

"Yeah," Anna replied, thinking about all the Slytherins she had met and befriended. She liked them, there was no doubt about that, and they seemed cool, but they weren't Nat, her best friend. "They're not you though."

Nat smiled. It made her feel good to be loved.
"Enough with all this sappy yadda yadda," she grinned. "I know you went to Asia in the summer. How was it?"

Anna laughed. "Asia?" she smiled. "What do you think? I went to an isolated country in the middle of a mountain range. Hmm... let's see: mountains, temples, no technology, no magic... how was I, huh? Terrible, I think. Yes! Terrible!"

Nat laughed at her best friend's sarcasm. "Hey," she grinned. "No need to go all sarcastic on me. Mine was boooring. But at least I got to go shopping."

"Shopping sounds fun," Anna replied. To be honest, she hated shopping, but when you shopped with Natalia Finnigan once or twice, you learn to love it.

"It was," Nat merrily replied. "I got so many new things for the summer: Muggle and Wizard. I got quills, and clothes and books and parchment and... I'm not boring you, right?"

"Of course not," Anna replied. "Not like mountains, or temples, or your grandparents telling you to eat your food."

Nat raised an eyebrow. "Why on earth would your parents tell you to eat more food?" she asked curiously. "You already eat like a glutton, sometimes."

Anna snorted. She was not in disbelief, but it was a sign that she knew. The good thing about her friendship with Nat was that they could insult each other like that and not feel anything.
"Then they eat like pigs," she laughed. "Like your older brother."

"My older brother? A pig?" Nat mocked. "That is not true!
"Okay, fine, he is. I am not going to deny that."

"Like I expected you to," Anna grinned, bringing out a handmade wooden caring of a dragon out of her pocket.
"It's supposed to be mine, but I think you'll be a much better carer of it."

Nat smiled. She stared at the charm in her hand, feeling every single carve of it. She then looked up at her best friend, and a tear fell down her cheek.
"Thanks," she whispered.

Nat laughed and stood up slowly, walking over to Anna. She grasped her wind tightly, nodding at her best friend. She started moving around in a circle, slowly, slowly.
