Stardust [Annabeth]

Anna felt Nat move her around in a circle, and so she started to move her feet too. Soon, they were getting faster, the wind blowing gently behind them. Anna felt a leaf land in her hair, but she didn't really care. All she could feel was a good spinning session with her best friend.

Natalia didn't know how Anna wasn't screaming in laughter like she was, but she enjoyed it too much think about it. Her chuckling in the wind sounded almost unfamiliar to her, but she still could feel herself in it.

Anna smiled, watching her best friend squeal in laughter, but for some reason, a few seconds after that, she slipped. She felt backwards onto the ground, guarding her head with her hands.

"Anna!" she yelled, watching her best friend tumble onto the ground. "ANNA!"

She tried catching her best friend's back by letting out her arms, but she knew that would not work. Still, she hoped for the best.

Anna grabbed Nat's wrist, knowing that her nails were digging into her flesh. It hurt, doing that to your best friend, but Anna knew saving herself was so much more important.

"Does it hurt?" she asked.

"No," breathed Nat. "I'm just so glad you're fine."

Nat grabbed Anna's body, holding it close to her chest.

Anna flung her arms around her best friend, thankful that she was alive. They hugged like this sometimes, but it was only as a joke. This was sincere and it meant 'I need you,' so Anna found it extremely meaningful.

"Thanks, Nat," she whispered. "I will forever owe you."

"You will never owe me, sister," Nat grinned. "You're my best mate."

And that was true.

(OOC: Nat/Anna will be canon. Okay?)

Anna let go of Nat, smiling. Her best friend had just saved her life. She linked her arm with Nat's and asked, "Do you want to go back to school?"

"And make my grand entrance for the entire school to see?" Nat joked, linking her arm with her best friend. "Why not?"

Anna laughed, skipping merrily to the school. A grand entrance, for Nat? That was simply perfect.
