Karma sat cross legged on the shore of the lake, slowly turning the pages of The Marauders' Book of Mischief. She looked quietly at the page on Levicorpus, and smiled at the memory of using it on Alessa. She flipped a few pages foreward and then a few pages back. There was nothing in here new. She knew that. Really, she did, she was just looking for the perfect prank. Then, she found it, in all it's glory, on page 256.

The Bride of the Squid

Georgie walked slowly along the side of the lake, wondering about all of the life underneath it. She looked up and saw she was standing really close to a girl who went to her school. Georgie really didn't like the girl, but didn't want anything or anyone to ruin her peaceful walk, so she carried on walking hoping that she would go past unnoticed

Karma glanced up. A griffindor. Perfect. "Wait!" She ran after the girl, shoving the Book into her backpack. "You're the girl from the train, aren't you?" She offered her a friendly smile. "I'm sorry for acting like that to you, but when We're around other Slytherins, we're suppose to act all ballsy and clever like. Plus with that new kid, I had to make a good, clever, impression. I knew he was gonna be a Slyrherin. I didn't even steal your ring, it fell and rolled to my foot as you left. I was gonna return it, honest." She pulled off sincere perfectly. She had a lot of practice. She held out a hand. "No hard feelings?"

Georgie smiled, she was very naive and didn't like holding grudges. She did slip her ring into her pocket secretly though before shaking the Slytherin's hand. "No hard feelings." She repeated. She wondered if she had really dropped the ring, it was a bit too big for her after all.

Karma smiled, tightened her grip on the girl's hand, and pulled out her wand. Levicorpus, she thought. The spell was designed to lift the target, here, the Gryffindor, into the air by the ankle. There was almost no way she could miss.

Georgie felt Karma's grip tighten as she pulled out her wand. "Wait wha--" Georgie started. She couldn't believe it, she was gulliable enough to fall for another trick. She would of gotten her wand but she had left it near a tree, about 50 metres away.

karma watched as the girl was lifted from the ground. She smiled winningly at the Gryffindor who was looking slightly horrified about ten feet in the air. She pointed her wand over the water and the Gryffindor floated there. By Karma's excellent depth perception she was far enough that a drop from that height wouldn't injure here, and she wasn't too far deep to not be able to stand. With a flirty wink, Karma dropped the Gryffindor, smiling when she heard the spash.

Georgie sceamed as she was lifted into the air, and then realised that she was above the lake. With a massive crash she was dropped in. She swam to the edge and immediately started screaming. "And people wonder why EVERYONE hates Slytherins? It is because of pathetic people like you, who have to drop someone younger and smaller than you in a LAKE to get your kicks!" She was right near her bag and quickly grabbed her wand.

Karma had ran. The second she made sure the Gryffindor hadn't drowned or cracked her head on the bottom of the lake she was sprinting for the castle. Watching the soaking wet Gryffindor yelling at her made her giggle. By the time she got to the point where the sand ended and the grass started she was laughing uncontrollably.

Gullible Gryffindors.

Georgie was fuming. She casted a jelly legs jinx at Karma making sure it hit. "I am sorry but you are not walking away from me!" she growled. "Like I said, you are pathetic!"

Karma was hit with the spell but pointed her wand at her legs. "Unjellify." She turned to the Gryffindor, a little amused. "You do know I'm at least a year of magical training ahead of you, right? Walk away." She turned on her heel and kept walking, sure to cast a muttered "Protego" just incase the Gryffindor didn't get the hint.

Georgie did an uncharacteristically evil chuckle. "Course, figures, but are you sure your just not as good as you make out?"

Karma rolled her eyes and kept walking. "Don't worry, Gryffie, when you're a little bit older, we can duel, for real." She glance over her shoulder at the still-soaking-wet Gryffindor. "It was just a Prank. Don't take it personally." With that, she walked into the castle and down into the dungeons, making sure the Gryffindor wasn't still behind her before slipping into the Slytherin Common Room.

Georgie sat by the lake close to tears. She could not believe that she had been undermined again she dried off her hair and then cast a spell that would dry the rest of her off.
