Lesson 3 (first years)

Pepper walked onto the field carrying the brooms once again, and dragging the quidditch trunk behind her. Today, they were going to practise some quidditch, for in the next lesson every year would be joined together and put in a team, and they would play quidditch together.

She set the brooms down and sat on the trunk, waiting for her students to arrive.

Flora walked into the Qudditch pitch and noticed she was the first to arrive.
"Hello Professor" she greeted and flopped onto the gound.

J. J. came into the Quidditch pitch, and eyed the trunk that the professor had behind her with curiosity.

"Hullo Professor," she called as she got closer to where she and the other student were.

She folded herself slowly, if not gracefully, into the ground beside the other girl, "Hullo Flora."

Aquila came into the Quidditch Pitch with a smile one his face. He loved flying.

"Hello Professor," he walked up to the teacher, "I'm hoping that you do not mind that I am joining late."

With that he flopped onto the ground.

"Ladies," he smiled at them and then noticed the box, "Quidditch!"

Flora looked up and smiled, 'Hello Juliet, hello Mr. Sunshine.'

Aquila quirked an eyebrow at her, "Mr. Sunshine, eh?" he he plucked a peice of grass out of the ground and put it in his mouth chewing it nonchalantly.

"I guess I can live with that," he spoke around the piece of grass, "Though you should know that you have given me free license to give you a nickname, and that could be a very, very, very dangerous thing for you."

Pepper stood up and looked at the few students who had arrived.

"Today, we're going to practice a little bit of Quidditch, for in next lesson, we will have a game of Quidditch, with the other years." She said and smiled.

"Now, everyone, tell me your favorite quidditch position."

J. J. looked up at the teacher. She knew the basics of Quidditch, Karma had explained it to her in their first History of Magic lesson, but she had never played it before.

"I wouldn't know Professor," she said softly, "I've never played... or watched."

'Bring it on, Sunshine.' Flora muttered.
'I haven't played either. But I think it'd be Seeker or Chaser for me.' she answered the professor.

"Oh I will," he smiled in return.

"I got to say I do love to play a beater," Aquila mused softly, "though I'm always up for anything."
