Meeting For the First Time (ALL ORDER MEMBERS)

Aurelia had decided that it was time for the first proper meeting of the order, she wanted to be able to report to them the things that she had been able to do, unfortunately she looked just a little odd as she had speeded over right from the chemistry lab.

The solution was ready.

It had been tested.

It was fully ready to be made on a mass scale.

With this knowledge Aurelia pushed the glasses up onto her head and shoved her hands in the pocket of her lab coat, waiting for the first people to arrive which hopefully they would do soon.

The twins arrived together, as they so often did, and walked through the double doors at the same time as well. Jack yawned a little as they split up, each taking a seat at the table that was opposite from the other. Jack and James then both reached into their holsters and started putting their weapons on the table in a non-threatening way. Once all of the many pistols and knives were on the table they relaxed a little.

Jack looked at Aurelia and gave her a small wink but mostly kept it professional.

James leant back in his chair and gave Aurelia a little wave with one had before closing his eyes to rest a little while waiting.

Lainey used the elastic that was on her wrist to pull her hair back from her face, then entered the Exodus 22 headquarters. The girl was wary. She didn't really know any of the others and she often felt useless. She'd come a long way in learning to handle a weapon, though. At least, Lainey hoped so...

Her gaze swept over the others who'd already arrived. There were the twins and... well, Lainey didn't actually recognize the other woman. No, Frank. Not that she'd seen the man anytime recently. The only people she'd been seeing lately were customers at her work and that stupid wizard that kept showing up everywhere.

"Hello," she said quietly. Putting on a quick smile, she then took a seat.

Aurelia frowned, well this was overwhelming, but at least it would be short, three of them already knowing what was going on in the state of things. Moving over to stand in front of a large white board Aurelia smiled at the lady she didn't know.

"Hello there, I assume you're,"

She cast her gaze down onto a sheet of paper and smiled.

"Lainey. I'm Aurelia, Aurelia Vance but you can call me Shadow, I'm the new leader of this organisation and as we can see, we're oh so very popular."

Rolling her eyes she looked at the twins and smiled.

"Should we begin?"

Lainey smiled politely back. "Yes, ma'am," she replied. "That would be me. It's a pleasure to meet you." A new leader. Lainey briefly wondered why the twins weren't in charge anymore, but decided it didn't matter. Someone competent was in charge. She assumed the woman already knew about her... talent. Frank had insisted that she tell the group when he first brought her into it.

The girl cast her gaze about the mostly empty room. So very few people... could they really make much of a difference with only four of them? She turned her attention back to the front, ready to listen.

Aurelia sighed and looked around the room, she slowly got up to close the door and regained her position by the board, looking purely at Lainey since the rest of them knew what had happened since the last time they had met she began to think about how to word what she was about to say.

"Right then."

Taking a breath Aurelia began to smile before she listed the things that they had accomplished:

"Since we have had new leadership, by me, I have been able to secure a meeting with Parliament, which went down fairly well without much interferance from Wizard kind, as a result of this we have been able to secure 1000 soldiers for our cause, and a facility to develop my new solution."

Aurelia bit her lip then took another breath.

"And we also have clearance codes for the use of nuclear missiles at any given point."

Lainey listened intently, nodding in understanding. She was suitably impressed. A meeting with Parliament? That was no small feat, from Lainey's perspective.

"Would I be correct in assuming those thousand are stationed throughout the UK?" she asked. "And... I'm solution? Like, a chemical solution?"

Her eyes widened. Nuclear missiles? She let out a surprised laugh. "That is too cool," she whispered.

Aurelia smiled, it was just as she had thought, she was glad that all of her members had a brain. after all it made her job so much easier when she didn't have to explain complicated things to them. Nodding at Lainey with a smile Aurelia said:

"Yes, most of them however are stationed here, in London, and others up in Scotland where we think the highest concentration of them are."

Welling up with pride a little Aurelia looked at the twins before pulling out a litle vial of clear liquid.

"This is my solution I developed. It drains a wizards magical core for at least half an hour, possibly up to 5 hours depending on how weak they are. And yes, the Nukes are pretty cool I feel a bit like james Bond."

She joked with a quick smile.

Frank silently place his gun back inside the holder hidden under his jacket. You never could be too careful now a days especially not when you meet up with a gambler that makes fights because people owe him money. He sighed and pushed open the door to the meeting room and paused. "Well who do we ave ere then?" He asked moving to take one of the seats.

"The names Havok, you'll no doubt find out why." He said one side of his mouth pulling up in a attempt at a smile. He gave the twins and Lainey a quick nod before sitting down with his legs resting on the table.

Nicoli whistled as he flipped his lucky coin up into the air before catching it and repeating the process. Life was good, he'd made a kill and sent something back to hell, that something he still wasn't sure what it was but that didnt matter once the paycheck came in. "ere Frank." He said pulling out a bag of gold. "I owed you right?" He said following Frank into the meeting room.

"Santo Gesù, non deve utilizzare il nome del Signore invano." He muttered before taking his seat. "New leader already?" He asked before moving back to the subject at hand.

"And what about these er... soprannaturale? What is it you eenglish call em? Demons? Vampirres? Those bullets wont effect their powers." He said tossing the coin into the air and catching, only once he had made a mental note of what it landed on did he put it back into his pocket.

"That's brilliant," Lainey breathed, staring at the vial of clear fluid. "Do you... do you think you might be able to get it to work permanently, some day? Like, so that they never have magic again?" If it could be made to work permanently, then maybe there was a chance that she could be normal, that she would never accidentally - or permanently, for that matter - take a wizard's magic, never be filled with that corruptive, awful power again.

Lainey finally tore her gaze away from the vial when Frank entered the room. She gave the man a small smile, gazing curiously at the man who entered a short while after him. She didn't really recognize him, but she hadn't necessarily met everyone, yet, either.

The redhead gaped at him. "Wait - demons?" she demanded. "Vampires? You mean they actually exist?? So, not only do we have to deal with witches and wizards, but demons and vampires and God only knows what else?"

Aurelia snapped her head up as the two new people entered the room, although late, they had at least shown up but now their numbers had been boosted significantly and these members were skilled too, just like everyone here.

"Havok, Nicoli, pleasure to meet you, I'm Aurelia but you can call me Shadow. I'm the new leader of Exodus 20."

Gesturing at the board, she wrote down everything that they had been talking about, under a title headed: 'Advantages' and then at what Nicoli said she wrote a new title headed: 'Disadvantages'.

"Thanks Nicoli, that's a very valid point, however I do believe that you and my boys here can take them on no problem, that is if you don't mind, I'm sure that I can get any materials that you need for this task."

Aurelia turned to Lainey and smiled softly, she had thought that too when she had first heard what they were up against:

"Don't worry, everybody has a weakness, and we will find them and exploit them."

In reference to the solution Aurelia cracked a grin before beginning to explain her outline for the development of the drug.

"That is what im aiming for in my development Lainey, hopefully in a few months or so I will be able to complete my work and it'll decrease magic for days, weeks even."

Sienna walked into the HQ, realising how long she had actually been away. She wondered how much had changed while she had been away in Romania, on trip that involved some pretty dangerous stuff, and she had a huge cut on her arm. As she walked into the room she was shocked to see there was someone that she didn't know. She knew Frank, Lainey, the twins, and she knew Nicoli, vaguely. "Hello, been a while eh, we even have a board in here!" she said laughing. She had a bottle of Budweiser in her hands and it was nearly finished. It wouldn't of been bad if she hadn't had 5 before it, and 3 sambuka shots. "I am sorry, about all of this," she said gesturing to the alcohol, "but how else was I supposed to get rid of my jetlag?"

Aurelia looked at the new person to enter, another woman, it seemed that they were getting to be somewhat even in the boys verus girls department and that was how Aurelia liked it, gazing at the alcohol bottle in the new womans hands Aurelia was remined, painfully, that because of her work she had given up drinking for the present.

"Aurelia Vance, but you can call me Shadow, now, what we've already been through is on the board so I'm not going to explain it again and we're just sorting out how to deal with certain, erm, specialist people on the magical side of things."

Grinning Aurelia gestured at the bottle of drink.

"It's cool but bring enough for everyone next time, we can have a party."

Sienna giggled, "Shadow, eh, sounds mysterious," she grinned, "I'm Sienna Marshall, but you can umm... call me..." she paused for a minute looking round until her eyes finally set on the bottle in her hand. "Budweiser..." she giggled again, and reminded herself of her old 'Essex girl' self for a moment.

"Specialist?" she asked and her mind went to her ex fiancée. "You mean like metamorphosis?" she asked remembering the first time that Mark changed in front of her.

She laughed as Shadow said about the alcohol "I would love to but as most people here know, I'm not good at sharing, so next time you bring the alcohol and I will bring... Banners..." she laughed again and took a seat.

Aurelia smiled and grinned softly, it seemed like they were all going to get on splendidly together after all nobody had wanted to kill each other just yet and she was glad of that fact because then shed have to sort that out.

"Budweiser hey? Alright then."

Nodding her head Aurelia looked at the board and added Metamorphagus to the list and she also added vampires and werewolves, stepping back as if viewing one if these creatures Aurelia smiled.

"Yes like those, and like vampires, werewolves, centaurs...oh let me add them,"

Placing the pen behind her ear Aurelia grinned and shrugged her shoulders she wasn't the one for withholding alcohol. "Sure as long as they're good banners."

With that Aurelia turned and smiled.

" I think we need to split into response teams, four response teams, so that we can get to events quickly and have multiple events covered, so, any preferences for partners?"

Sienna grinned. "I have decided I like you." she laughed loudly. "Centaurs... Aren't they them horsey people?" she asked unable to think of a proper way to describe it.

"I will make them the best banners you have ever seen," she grinned from ear to ear again. "Maybe they can even have happy birthday on, if you are lucky," she told her chuckling.

"Well I know most of these people, and I am not been harsh but I would rather go with someone I trust. And someone who can cope with me. Which probably narrows it down to um, one or two," she laughed again and went to take another swig of her drink, but was unhappy to find it was empty.

Aurelia smiled and leant against the board, fussing with her lab glasses that kept slipping down her nose as she spoke, she nodded her head and couldn't help but smile, she was glad she was liked:

"Thanks, means a lot, I like to know I'm not completely despised."

Nodding her head again Aurelia grinned: "Yups, those horsey things but I doubt we will be up against them."

It was then that Aurelia drew on the board four numbers and she placed her name under team two, simply because she liked that number best out of the ones that were there. Then taking on board what Budweiser said she placed the pen on her lip.

"Don't worry about it, it's not harsh at all, whoever you work best with. And who would you like to go with?"

She grinned and chuckled. "By the way you can really call me Si or I think it is Jack who called me legs," she grinned at him with her brows raised high. "He knows I love him really,"

After a moment thought she decided to say a few names. "Well I have known Frankie, Jacky and Jamesy since the beginning and I have only really seen Lainey and Nicoli out and about so one of my boys?" she said with a grin, and pulled her skirt down a bit. She was wearing quite girly clothes, like usual but she some how still made it look threatening. Maybe it was the gun that was attached to the pretty short skirt.

Jack grinned a little bit as he looked Sienna up and down again. It had been a long time since he'd last seen her and he liked to think that the nickname he'd given her stayed true. He winked at her,

"Welcome bac' legs." he greeted her before grinning, "Sure. I'll be yer wingman."

He gave Aurelia and James a look,

"I have a feelin' me brother will be hooking up wit' te boss lady."

Aurelia raised her eyebrows and she grinned softly, of course, why didn't she expect that from Jack? After all he was like a walking ball of testosterone, fighting and killing and making love to ladies.

"I've got no problem with this, but Legs is a nickname Jack will call you alone I think Si, but I may stick to Budweiser."

Grinning she wrote on the board:

Team One: Si and Jack

Aurelia chuckled and shook her head, looking at James with a kind grin on her face before patting his shoulder.

"Just cause were dating doesn't mean I'm going to fight with him, the exact opposite, I would like to lead team two with Nicoli, if that's okay by you?"

James looked at his brother with a look of disapproval. He'd never really agreed with the way that Jack seemed to go from fighting to fucking within three seconds. It wasn't something the two of them had in common so he assumed that it was a trait that his brother had picked up in the field somewhere.

God knows where though.

He looked up at Aurelia as she spoke and returned her small grin. Being around Aurelia always seemed to calm him down a little bit. He glanced at Nicoli for a few seconds, sizing the other man up. After a few seconds he nodded,

"Tha'll be fine by me boss lady." he gave Aurelia a wink before turning back to Nicoli, "Yer'd bes' keep good care of me darlin' Aurelia. Otherwise yer head'll be meeting me boot. Repeatedly."

Sienna frowned. "I cant believe that I missed my Jamesy boy falling in love." she giggled though and turned to Jack. "But I still have you, don't I Jacky" she laughed then walked over to sit next to Jack and rested my feet on his lap

She saw the look that James had given Jack. "Don't worry Jamesy, I will make sure that Jack doesn't get any idea's! Well I will try!" she said grinning.

Jack grinned a little bit as Sienna came closer to him, even resting her legs on him comfortably,

"Yer miss a lil, yer miss a lot fillie." he told her with a small smirk, his hand resting lightly on her leg, "A lot's been happenin' since yer las' visit'd darlin'. Maybe yer wan' te catch up wit me later?"

He chuckled a little as he idly began to rub Sienna's leg. Not in big strokes or anything, his hand was barely moving, but enough for Sienna to notice,

"Yer failin' already ter Legs." he told her with a wink, "Ideas have been had."
