RAVENCLAW! (Open)

Vincent sat in the Ravenclaw compartment and waited for his fellow house mates to arrive,
"Finally, my first year at Hogwarts" he sat back and looked out the window, his eyes darting to the door to see if anyone would arrive

Ingrid smiled as she walked onto the train, it was the first time that she had felt normal in ages, Richards magic had made her into a healthy girl again and it was now almost as if she had never been ill and she hoped that she would get to see that boy who had made fun of her.

Boarding the train she looked in the compartments and smiled as she saw someone she knew, Vincent.

"Hey! Mind if I sit here?"

"INGRID!" Vincent said with excitement he got up and gave her a hug before taking her bag and placing it in the shelf overhead, he then said
"You look so nice, happy to be going back to Hogwarts?"
He was so excited Ingrid was the first school mate he had actually seen on the train.
He calmed himself and when they sat he said
"How were your holidays?"

Ingrid grinned and wrapped her arms around Vincent as he hugged her, finally able to enjoy the free movements of her joints.

"Oh, zank you! You didn't have to."

She smiled as Vincent put her bag up on the shelf, sitting down opposite him Ingrid grinned softly, she had had a wonderful summer, one of the best that shed ever experianced. Blushing ever so slightly as Vincent told her that she looked nice, Ingrid played with a strand of her hair.

"You zink I do? Yes, I am looking vorvard to it, are you?" before she added with a slight intake of breath "Its been so vonderful, vat about yours?"

"It was great, I got to see my family and we had a huge feast before I left, so I am extremely full" he laughed patting his stomach
"What classes are you taking this year" he asked while he got comfortable on the seat.

Ingrid smiled softly at Vincent, she was happy that he had managed to go and see his family, she however still missed hers but had spent a great deal of time with her grandfather, both training and having fun.

"That sounds lovely!"

Wracking her brain for the classes that she had taken Ingrid counted them out on her fingers:

"Care of magical creatures, muggle studies, history of magic and transfiguration, what about you?"

He thought quickly and replied "Defence Against The Dark Arts, Care for Magical Creatures, Charms, Transfiguration, Muggle Studies and Muggle duelling... So we have three classes together" he smiled and continued with a joking smirk said "lets see who's smarter" he laughed and looked out at the blurring landscape outside.

Ingrid grinned and shook her head at Vincents challenge but it was nice to know that there would be someone there in some of her classes that she knew which made it better, less scary.

"Vell I don't know about zat, you're probably smarter to be fair Vincent."

Turning to look out of the window Ingrid knelt on the seat and reached up into her bag, getting out a smaller bag.

"Vant a sveet?"

Briony, who was now thoroughly bored of the staff cars familiar surroundings had excused herself to come and look at the students, to see if they were all playing nicely with each other, and hoping they weren't.

Stopping at the entrance to one carriage, occupied by a young girl and Vincent, a boy that she had met while drunk in the Leaky Cauldron.

With a smirk she rapped on the door and leant into the room, looking at the two children with her glistening eyes.

"Well hello there, I hope you are behaving..."

He felt his face go red as the gorgeous face of Briony entered the doorway, he quickly straightened his clothes and messed with his hair, hoping and begging that she didn't see it...
"Oh, sweets... yyum, yes please" he acted like he didn't see her then turned as if startled thinking Oh God please make this look genuine
"Brio--- Professor Romain, how are you? Holidays well? Your looking nice" he threw questions like he was being interrogated... He took a deep breath and smiled, a smile always defused an awkward situation, he thought

Briony smirked as she saw Vincents face grow red and she watched as he straightened his clothes, pretending not to know that she was here, there was only one word for it, it was quite cute.

"Hmmm may I have one dear?"

Striding into the compartment, her coat still in the staff carriage so her wand and her knife on her thigh were clearly visible.

"Hello Vincent," she whispered "My holidays were satisfactory thank you very much, and yours? Thank you, you're too kind." Briony grinned, smoothing her corset down

Briony directed her gaze to the lady sitting opposite him and raised her eyebrows, gesturing slightly to her, and making a smoochy face, it would be too delicious if she had interrupted young love.

"Who are you then? I've not seen you before..."

Lost for words as Vincent saw Briony's knife and wand coupled with her corset, she was dangerous... Whoever married this woman is the luckiest man alive.
"Ah, er, um... my-my holidays were they.. um fine thanks" he stuttered, he realised that he was excluding Ingrid and so turned toward her a lolly would be a good way to shut himself up.

I feel like an absolute idiot, infront of my friend and my professor, he thought to himself.

Ingrid smiled softly as she saw the professor enter the carriage, she knew her of course but knew that she didn't know her yet, although Richard had probably mentioned her in passing when they talked.

"Hello Professor, I'm Ingrid Valeska."

Letting the two of them get on with it Ingrid gave them both a lollipop and smiled softly.

"Don't let me bother you, I've got some reading to do."

Briony bit her lip and she smiled at Ingrid she was indeed a friend of her husbands and she wanted to make sure that she wasn't unnerved by her.

"Nice to see you Ingrid, looking good."

Then turning back to Vincent Briony accepted the lolly from Ingrid with a smirk, unwrapped it and popped it into her mouth with a happy grin.

"Only alright? Shame..."

Briony leant forwards and took off her knife to twirl it on her fingertips.

"What lessons have you taken then Vincent, I hope you are on my roster..."

"No, no Ingrid... it would be rude to simply exclude you... Join in!" he smiled and said under his breath "at least you can break the awkwardness"
he swiftly unwrapped the lollipop and used it as a pacifier so he could shut his stupid mouth.

He pulled the lollipop out and now with better control and composure said "Care of Magical Creatures, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Charms, Transfiguration, muggle.............. studies" he grinned 'and... muggle duelling"
"That's quite a knife professor, where was it made?"

Briony smiled softly and she leant back on the bench, smirking she tapped the knife on her head and she watched as Vincent tried to control himself by sucking on the lollipop.

"Gee I would hate to make things awkward...if you want me to go..."

Whispering that last part Briony took the lollipop out of her mouth, licking it before placing it back in.

"Ah you tease me, at least you have taken my class, rest assured I'll teach you well, what would you like to learn?"

Briony smiled and flipped the knife in the air, handing it to him handle first: "I made it."

"No" he said in an instant "It's fine you can stay, and I don't really know what you do in Muggle duelling, so I wouldn't have a clue"

He looked at the knife, examining each detail testing the blade it's sharpness and integrity
"This is quite a fine blade" he said while twisting it in his hands, he thrust it quickly three times into mid-air swinging it back and forth in figure of eights being extremely careful not to hit anyone.
"Excellent balance and maneuverability," he flicked it over and handed it back ensuring the handle was first
"It must have taken some skill to make that" he said, he felt another awkward moment as he looked over at Ingrid subtly returning the lollipop to his mouth.

Brionys eyes widened and she tilted her head to one side, looking at Vincent with a soft smirk tugging at her lips, well, if this wasn't endearing.

"If you don't know what it is why take it?" she smirked "Just for me?"

Looking at Ingrid Briony smiled, she seemed to be off in her own little world, it was quite sweet really but she worried that she was getting a little too engrossed, tapping her on the nose Briony smiled.

"You with us Ino?"

Briony took the knife back and she smirked as she placed it back in her holdster.

"It did take me a while, but it's worth it to produce such s blade, are your family in weaponry? You seem to know a lot about it."

Ingrid grinned and she looked up apologetically at Briony, she did not take her class but she had wanted to, but she wasn't physically able enough to take the class, which had ruled out wizard duelling and flying too.

"Sorry Professor but I didn't take your class..."

Biting her lip she took a lollipop and put it in her own mouth, sucking on it softly before taking out her doll she was making from her bag.

"Yes sorry I'm with you, promise, I'm just thinking about the design for this doll I'm making, I get quite distracted."

Ingrid smiled up at Vincenf, to show him that she was okay.

With a cheeky grin he tried hiding his red face as he said "I merely want to learn more and expand my knowledge compilations" he raised an eyebrow and after removing his lollipop he explained
"In Italy before we were able to use magic, father taught us about weaponry... A second road if wizardry didn't go very well, I grew to love the intricacies of Italian weaponry and armory... but magic was always my greatest love, I haven't looked into it but I'd love to find a middle ground where there is magic and weaponry" he was secretly very proud, not of his weaponry, but that he had explained all that without getting lost in Briony's beauty.
He returned the lollipop and continued "hat's off to you professor, that is quite an achievement... have you ever used it?"
He chuckled silently as she tapped Ingrid's nose, he felt so rude for excluding her but the smile she gave was one that reassured him, she was such a lovely girl.

Briony chuckled softly and she shook her head, it was just so sweet of him and she couldn't help but begin to relax around these two students, placing her feet up on the seat in front of her.

"Aww now you've upset me." she teased, sticking her Tongue out

Tilting her head to one side Briony listened to Vincent as he told her about how he had been brought up to know a mixture of muggle and wizard fighting which was of course very sensible.

"Well I shall be teaching you how to basically use muggle weaponry and some martial arts techniques. So this knife will be featuring again sometime soon."

Briony smirked and patted the knife: "Of course I have, a lot, that shock you?"

Turning to Ingrid Briony looked at the doll she was making and smiled: "You could give it brown hair, curly."

"Excellent, I should be quite good at it then" he smiled while flexing his biceps... He had been working out like crazy, he had muscled up since their first encounter in the Leaky Cauldron, he was now proud of his body and couldn't wait for his first lesson in muggle duelling.
"Or long straight blonde hair, possibly model it off yourself or another student.... maybe even a professor" he smirked and then to Briony said "it is a knife, should it not be used?" Watching Briony relax he too calmed from his straight posture and slid into the usual 'boy' position
"Any idea how long til Hogwarts?"

Briony watched Vincent flexing his muscles, she smirked softly and she moved forwards to gently touch the arm as he flexed then again, smiling widely Briony moved away again with a lingering touch.

"Well well then! You said you werent muscled...has someone been working out?"

Nodding her head Briony agreed with Vincent, of course it would be something different if they knew about her powers.

"I thought you would have been against the whole killing scene, I guess I was wrong."

With that Briony looked at the doll that Ingrid made and smiled, obviously Vincent wanted it to be made like her so she smirked and asked: "Why don't you make it like me, then it could be a present for someone."

Ingrid smiled softly and she bit her lip looking through the bag of materials that she had brought and picked out some black hair, placing it next to the doll, then brown, then blonde, smiling again she held up the black.

"A Professor Romain doll it is then, means I may have to make a few alterations to it's stature though."

With that she looked at Vincent, a large smile on her face.

"Vould you like it ven in done Vincent?"

Briony knew all the right things to say and do as he heard her talk to Ingrid
"I have been working out" he said while remembering the first contact he and Briony had.
"Oh and I'm all against killing, but in self defence it is fine... I hope your not a cold blooded killer" Vincent said with a smirk
"I had no idea you crafted Ingrid" Vincent asked while looking at all of her materials
"I think I will have it when your done... for my little sister, so she can know who the most beautiful woman at Hogwarts is... and who's creator is the cutest girl I've met" he smiled hopefully that had pleased them.
