RAVENCLAW! (Open)

Briony grinned, oh if only Vincent knew what she used to be like, she used to be exactly as he said, a cold blooded killer, but now she did only kill in self defines, so, it was acceptable. Or if someone threatened someone she loved. Or stole from her. Yeah...

"Cold blooded killer? Me? You're confusing me with my husband, I only used to do that. Changed lady now."

Smirking Briony watched as Ingrid got out the hair and began to start to craft with it, completing the doll, it already looked a little bit like her so she was sure it'll be great.

"Wow, you're such a charmer Vincent, I think he has his eye on us Ingrid, be careful there dear."

With a wink Briony elbowed Ingrid playfully.

Ingrid nodded softly at Vincent, she was able to craft quite well it was a family trait however she hadn't told Vincent this, after all, he hadn't asked and she didn't think it was appropriate.

"Yes I vork with vood a lot, I make dolls especially and I tend to make much bigger models than this, life size."

With that Ingrid nodded her head, blushed wildly, and set to work chipping the face a little thinner, smoothing it down with the sandpaper, shed have to finish this quickly in order to give it to Vincent.

"Vell excuse me vhile I make zis zen mkay?"

"Oh, your husband..." she was like an assassin silently but deadly she sliced at him, he would smile to cover it, successful as always.
"Glad to know you've changed,"

He couldn't help but get embarrassed at Briony's comment, he grinned and watched as Ingrid crafted her doll, he always got hooked on small intricate details... his mind wandered back to his father's weapon forge, the years he spent making the two daggers that when placed next to each other became one, how the delicate patterns swirled around the handle... he also remebered his mother teaching him how to cook always telling him 'Never forget to make your dish beautiful, no matter who your serving' watching his older female cousin, fire bullseye after bullseye from her hand crafted bow. He couldn't wait for Hogwarts, even though he'd miss his family

Briony looked at Vincent and then at Ingrid and smiled softly moving to sit next to Vincent so that their bodies were touching each other.

"Hey, you alright? You not like Rich or something? He can be a bit of an ass sometimes, right Ingrid?"

Smiling gently she threaded her hands through her hair and purred lightly thinking about how odd this might be to the to both students and flushed lightly.

"Sorry about that guys! I just really like my hair being played with..."

"Oh God! I'm sorry, my mind was in another place," he had never met Briony's other half but was already jealous of him.
"No, I've never met him, just a faceless figure" it was like ecstasy when she moved next to him, his eyes darted around the compartment Ingrid busy on her doll, Briony began stroking her hair... it was very strange but he could imagine her husband doing it to her... he barely knew the man and already didn't like him.

Briony smiled softly and poked Vincent on the nose playfully, she was finally relaxing and it was something that she rarely permitted herself these days because of what had happened over the summer.

"Well then that's okay, I'm pretty sure you guys will get along, you didn't take transfiguration did you?"

Musing slightly Briony placed her feet on the drat, resting her head on her knees as she looked at Vincent.

"Hey, do you mind if I ask you a question?"

Briony began to play with her hair again and her eyes dropped shut slowly, but she started, waking up from her drousy state.

"I am taking transfiguration... but I'm a big boy I'll survive" he watched every movement that Briony made with eagle precision,
"You can ask me anything, Professor" he turned placed his hands behind his head, leaning ever so slightly toward Briony.
He tried to think of the question she was about to ask.

Briony smiled softly and bit her lip, maybe she shouldn't tell Richard about this like she was going to, she just wanted to make sure the guy didn't have his lessons ruined for the next 7 years.

"Ooo well, you will get to know him really well then. He's not that bad..."

With that Briony smiled, turned around to face him, with her legs crossed and pointed towards him.

"I'm looking for an apprentice, know anyone who may be interested?"

Briony asked looking up at him through her eyelashes.

Vincent almost fell over he was gob smacked, but almost instantaneously recovered
"No, no one springs to mind" he joked the sides of his mouth curling forcing himself not to smile
He laughed and laughed and laughed until his sides hurt and he felt stupid but he didn't care he was so happy
"Oh God! I would love to be your apprentice!" he put both hands on Briony's smooth knees and said in his most sincere voice and with a smile threatening to rip his face in two he said "this means so much!, thank you thank you thank you Briony Romain"
His thoughts flew everywhere, he could spend almost all day with Briony, he wasn't even at Hogwarts and he'd gotten an apprenticeship...
"Did you hear that Ingrid! I am Briony Romain's apprentice"

After the initial shock passed Vincent calmed and was extremely embarrassed by what he had just done... He had just acted like a lunatic in front of the only people he really knew.
"Sorry about that, my freak out never happened..." he was so ashamed of himself but still happy to have an apprenticeship

Briony was a little taken aback by Vincents reaction to her question, she grinned and couldn't help but chuckle in a soft way, looking at him and how happy he was made Briony feel good about herself, and that she was actually going to get a good apprentice this year.

"Well then, gee! Nobody has ever been this happy about getting an apprenticeship with me."

Almost blushing Briony looked at Vincents hands on her knee and in the confusion she had placed her own hands on his legs.

"You sure you're up to it? I'm a lot to handle..." she purred

Briony grinned and hugged Vincent to her placing a kiss on top of his head before letting him go with a smile, so very happy that he was making herself a new bond, a new apprentice to have trained up.

"You don't need to thank me, but, your freak out totally did happen and it was cute, really cute."

"Thank you very much" Vincent said again in a calm rational voice
"I can't wait... I might even get pa... to send me a sword or some daggers, which weapon would you recommend"
He couldn't believe that she had kissed him, even though on the head he couldn't believe it. He crushed his lollipop in one bite and put the stick in a pocket of his pants. When he saw Miles, he couldn't wait they both had apprenticeships.
"Now I really can't wait for that doll to be done... so my sister can know who gave me my apprenticeship" he smiled still so happy with his success and how quickly it had happened.

Briony smiled softly at Vincent and she moved him from resting his head on her chest, after all, it wasn't very appropriate, with that she looked into his eyes and she smiled a little more glad he was happy.

"What weapon should you use? It's all down to individual strengths, we will find one in our first proper training session, but I'd say a dagger."

Sucking the top off her lolly Briony placed the stick in the wrapper and on the seat next to her, Briony grinned and she looked at Ingrid making the doll, she looked like she was almost done.

"I'm sure shell be ready by then end of the trip."

He thought it through, he hadn't used a weapon since he got his 'new' body so he had no idea which weapon best suited him.
He turned to his new master and said "Does Hogwarts have formals or proms? I saw many while back in Italy and have always wanted to go to one"
He too watched Ingrid craft and could see that when it is done it will look very close to Briony

Briony smiled at Vincent and she nodded, there had been a long time in between the last formal and the one that they were having this year, but there was one on the way for around Christmas time.

"Of course there is! We're having a ball around christmas time...why are you excited for it?"

"Maybe... I always love getting dressed up, and I particularly adore corsets" he smoothed his hair and straightened his clothes
"When is our first training lesson when we get to Hogwarts?" he curled his fingers and stretched his arms
He looked her in the eyes while slipping glances at her corset

Ingrid looked up from her work and she smiled softly at Vincent and Briony, it was just so cute and a little bit funny to watch them. She didn't particularily mind, it wasn't like getting a boyfriend was top on her list at the moment but still...

With that she took up the hair and she began to sew it onto the top of the dolls smooth face, once she had that down to the right consistancy she then began to smooth down the rest of the body and she took a glance at Briony and what she was wearing which Vincent too seemed to like.

"Really? A ball? Ooo...that's going to be so fun! I've never been to a ball before."

Briony grinned, she didn't know that she was in the presence of another corset lover and she looked at her own corset, very proud of the simple black creation, yet, the intricate white sewing work along the bodice made it different to any normal one that you could buy.

"You've got the right master then."

Shaking her head softly Briony grinned.

"You sure are excited about this aren't you? How about when lessons start? We'll have our first one then, in my office."

Briony looked at Ingrid and smiled: "I know you'll look beautiful."

"Excellent, I'll have to get in contact with pa so he can send me his beloved daggers... and sorry but what floor is your office on?"
"Apparently there's a new professor... um, professor Lestrange... is that right?" she doesn't seem to nice

Briony raised her eyebrow and thought for a moment, a new professor, didn't seem like such a radical concept, but a Lestrange...well that was new.

"I have not met her but it is entirely possible...I'll be sure to keep an eye out for her, you let me know if anyone bar me give you any trouble."

Looking at Ingrid and Vincent Briony grinned.

"Speaking of which, what lessons are you looking forward to the most."

"well she attacked me in the graveyard... October retaliated in a bad way but I handled it" he smiled then became serious " she defaced a grave, I hate her for that" he rubbed his neck remembering the rope conjured from the end of elizabeths wand
"you should teach her a lesson" he smiled evilly she would pay

Briony looked at Vincent and she seemed a little shocked, a teacher, attacking two students? Seemingly un provoked? That warrented a duel in her opinion and she growled low in her throat as she felt herself grow more angry.

"You want me to? Because I will. I need to give someone a good beating."

As she let her anger flood through her Briony felt herself gathering the shadows from around her but quickly dispelled them, regaining her calm.

"Nobody hurts students on my watch. Or defiles the place of the dead. It's disrespectful and un-needed. She sounds more like a child than a professor."

"i warned her that if she ever offend miles, he was there too along with kirsten cresswell, I would come after her... I never mentioned you though" he raised his eyebrow "i'll tell you if she does and we can all go get her"
"i have a feeling she's going to use miles for something... she whispered something in his ear before she left... I don't trust her and I don't want anything to happen to miles, perhaps professor moody could watch him?" He was concerned for miles, he hoped nothing would happen to him

Briony sighed softly, even though his heart was probably in the right place threatening a Professor was by no means the right thing to do, resting her head on the arm of a chair she sighed again.

"Hmmmm Miles, not my favourite student but a student is a student and I must protect them."

Resting her head now on her hand she looked at the floor and found herself desperately wanting some form of comfort food.

"Ingrid can I have another sweet?" she asked, somewhat cheekily

Briony looked at Vincent and smiled briskly, running her hand through her hair:

"I wonder where my husbands got to?"

He grinned back then turned his face to the window and let out a silent sigh followed by a grimace.
"Sorry, the heat of the moment caught me and I tried to act rationally" he dropped his head in shame he thought he had done the right thing, but now that he thought about it... Maybe it wasn't the best thing to say
"Yeah, where is your husband? I'd like to meet him" he said with s small smile

Briony smiled softly and she shrugged her shoulders, at least he hadn't actually been stupid enough to tak on the Professor on his own, because if he had that would have been beyond stupid.

"Don't worry if no body was hurt then it's okay, just come to me in the future."

With that she shook her head and got up from her seat.

"I'll go find him. I'll bring him back here."
