Overall history: His mother grew up in England with her sister Michelle; when his mother was about eighteen she met Frank Marks, a man from Louisiana who was visiting England on a business trip. They were immediately attracted to each other. After a string of back and forth meetings, and a long distance relationship of some years, Frank proposed, and Sarah moved to America with him to raise her family.

Tyler had a normal life, growing up with his parents and older sister. When he was about twelve, however, his life was shattered when his family was attacked, and killed. Ty alone - who was held back by a string around his neck - survived when a wizard interfered, saving him. Ty however did could remember nothing of this event except for the unexplainable magic. Therefore he mistakenly has blamed the wizards for the death.

At least that is what he thought. It turned out that his sister, Rebecca through events sheer twists of fates managed to survive also, whoever she fled the house before anyone could find her, and grew up away from Ty thinking that she too was the sole survivor.

After his parents death, he was carted over to England where his mother grew up, supposed to be raised by his aunt and uncle as per his parents will. However some legal issue ensued between the countries and Ty ended up in the orphan system where he met Tobias (Rhys Haines). From mutual patheticness, Ty's self pity, and Tobias/Rhys's lack of it, the two grew an odd sort of bond that none of the adults understood. It even managed to survive the discovery of Tobias/Rhys's magic.

When Tyler was about Sixteen, or so, he blew off everything, and made his way back to america. He wanted to find out what happened - really happened - to his family. Instead all that he had really found was in an increase liking for booze and women, bonding with Treshawn Beneparte. When the news of magic sightings broke out back in England, he returned 'home'.

Recently Ty was attacked by a werewolf; he was lucky to survive however he has been turned into the same creature, and is struggling to deal with it. A few months after that twist, he discovered Rebecca was not dead at all. The two are trying to regain their relationship.

Struggling to deal with his new inner desire for the moon, and continuing his relationships with not only Karma and Rhys, but his 'creator' Ondrea Montgomery as well, Tyler met, and fell for a Russian girl by the name of Laura Veer. Although he wanted to take their relationship slow, and pushed her away for a bit in fear of not being safe for her, that all went out the window when after one fling of passion, Laura found herself to be pregnant. Terrified of screwing the child up, but unwilling to make Laura do anything on her own, he immediately invited her to live with himself, during which time he realized just how attached to her he was.

Now engaged, and celebrating the healthy birth of their little son, Henry Tyler Marks, they are merely waiting to settle in, and for the right time to get married.
