Overall history: Leah is a muggleborn witch her mother is a Nurse in large hospital while her father works as a banker, they only had one child which was Leah. When Leah was only she often made moths turn into bright blue butterflys, at first her parents were freaked out by this, but when they told Tom Marks's father that Leah was doing this he calmed them down telling his son that in fact both Tom's parents were magical and they only hide it from him becuase they wanted him to grow up normal. After realizing it was no big deal that Leah was a witch both her parents quickly embraced and encouraged her magical powers

When Leah was young and went to school with muggle children she was bullied because of the way she dressed, so she started to perform small spells on the bullies without her meaning to, because of this her Mother decided to pull her out of muggle school and home school her until she turned 11 when she would be able to go to Hogwarts where she would be surrounded by other magical students.

A couple of months before she was due to start Hogwarts her Grandparents because they were both magical took her to diagon alley to buy her school supplies, they also took the opptunity to introduce Leah tot he world in which she was about to enter so that when she arrived at Hogwarts she would not to be afraid.
