Karma yawned. Nonverbal spells? Really? She was ashort natural at those. Shed been practicingto during the summer.

Not even bothering to get up when the chairs were moved (and therefore moving with them) Karma raised her wand and pointed it at Jet. She waved it, thinking expelliarmus.

    She felt like an intruder.

"Um...professor", she said shyly. "I think I am left without a partner."
Oh, God let me disappear, she thought.[i]This is not happening.

Andria smiled at the confused girl and suggested a common solution she would do to interact with the students during her subject,

"You're with me. Don't worry. I always go easy. Any spell, lass. Just give your best. I can also test you somehow on the Duel."

She stood in front of the Gryffindor and waited for the spell to hit her.

He shook his head. "You know one spell Aria." He said before raising his wand and pointing it a quill, seconds later the quill lit up in flames. Whether that was a spell or an extension of his gift no one knew but Arsen thought it was a spell that made it. "Incendio." He muttered lowering his wand. "Your favourite spell until you learn fiendfyre." He smirked his eyes glued on the flames in front of him.

Aria's face lit up as the quill caught fire, clapping her hands together in delight as a girlish laugh escaped her lips.

"That is a good spell!" she said, eyes shining. She lowered her voice to a faint whisper. "Can I really learn fiendfyre? I do not know if I will be able to..." Aria frowned unhappily at that thought. Fire was so wonderful and pretty and alive. Its warmth and vitality was unrivaled.

Digging out one of her own quills from her bag, Aria set it on the table and pulled out her wand. She mimicked the motion Arsen had made. "And I just think incendio?" she asked for verification.

Turning her gaze intently upon the quill, Aria plied her attention to setting it on fire. The first attempt was fruitless, as was the second. At the third attempt, however, the feather blossomed into orange flames.

Smiling proudly, Aria turned back to Arsen, awaiting the boy's approval.

One side of his mouth pulled up into a smirked. "I shall teach you myself. You are with me now and everyone i know should know the spell. it should be illegal not too." He said turning to watch as she tried the spell, she did rather well considering she had never really done magic before this year.

He gave her a quick nod in congratulations before turning to try a spell not naturally connected to him. He never got the praise he deserved so neither should she.

The girl beamed in response to the brief nod Arsen gave her, that small show of approval praise enough. Aria watch raptly as he performed another spell, eager to learn and quite simply thrilled by anything the boy did.

Jet was watching Aria when his wand flew out of his hand. He spun around and met Karma's eyes, not looking pleased. He flinched when she pointed her wand at him and searched his mind for the sheild spell, but in vain.

There was a sharp tug at his ankle and he was hanging in the air, upside down, glaring at Karma, who was openly laughing. His eyes widened as she sat back down, and seemed content to just leave him there.

"Karm-" sudddnly his voice was gone. He narrowed his eyes. A Silencio? A Silent Silencio?!

    Karma was smiling.

Andria turned her gaze onto the Slytherins on the other side, walking in a rush towards the mayhem. The boy! Was his voice taken away? And then much worse, he was hanging upside down. She sighed with a disappointment she had never felt before and waved her wand to stop the spell that was making the Slytherin float high in the air. Once he was down, she flicked again and the voice returned with slight panic. The lady patted the boy's shoulder and glared at the girl who started it in the first place. The anger was not present. But that level of disappointment reached its maximum level. She hadn't expected any of this. Let alone thinking that these fourth years were disciplined enough to handle the situations. Yes, they were determined and active. But the actual playing time was out of the border.

"Miss Black, what in the whole world did you do? I have never suspected any of this encounters to come. You might just take me as some normal student, like what I wanted. But I didn't say anything about disregarding respect towards my class. And in front of me and your fellow students. Now go and apologize. If you fail to do so without explanation, I will be forced to take as many points as I can from your house. Surely, you and me don't want that?"

Andria spoke with a serious tone. The very first time she had ever done since her teaching career. You can't really avoid the tension and stress, don't you?

Karma looked at her Professor with widened eyes and an innocent expression. "It's only a Levicorpus." She said. "Jet's had much worse." She eyed the boy with something like fondness, but really she was sure she could use him, somehow.

She stood from her chair and yawned, bringing her arms above her head and stretching. "I never meant any disrespect for your class, professor, I was simply practicing the nonverbal spells I knew, isn't that what you assigned? Jet looks quite calm to me, aren't you Jet?" A slight warning slid into her tone, but it was hidden by her radiant smile.

"Any who, I'm humbly sorry for throwing you up in the air like a Muggle Rag Doll, Jet. And Silencio-ing you. I just didn't want you to break the rules and use a verbal spell to get down. You know." She handed him his wand with a wink and turned to the professor. "Is that all, Professor? If you wish for me to stop practicing nonverbal spells, I can just sit and read." She gestured to the book she'd been reading anyway, with a smile.

Aireon was just about to cast a spell when all the ruckus started. He looked over to see Jet hanging upside down, and not speaking. He felt sorry for him. When the professor went on her little tirade, he silently glared at Karma. But as he thought about it, not every one's the same. He keeps control of his emotions, but that leads to him being somewhat of a loner. Karma is passionate, shall we say, and she has a lot more friends? or merely acquaintances?

He turned to Lucy. He thought of a basic spell.

"Ready?" he said. His spell shot from his wand toward Lucy

Aria's hands clapped together when Jet went up into the air, her grin only broadening when it seemed he was no longer able to speak. For some reason, this (what happened to Jet, that is) upset the professor, which didn't make much sense to Aria. Weren't they supposed to be practicing nonverbal spells for combat situations? Regardless, the blonde was enchanted.

She turned to Arsen, blue and brown eyes bright with excitement. "I want to learn that spell, too!" she whispered excitedly. "Both of them!"

Jet adjusted his robes and smiled a rueful smile. "You're lucky you disarmed me first, Neighbor. Or we'd have had a full fledged, silent, duel." He smiled at the Professor with a shrug. "I'm mostly surprised it wasn't a Sectumsempra. I'm very rusty. We'll have to duel some more." He slid into the seat next to Karma and gave her a gentle punch in the arm. "When you least expect it..."

    Karma half-smiled at him. "Likewise."

Andria sighed and looked at both of the Sltyetherins longingly and with some relief. She can't let that thing get her down and ruin the day. Besides, she can't even stay that much with anger. That was her problem. A beneficial attitude that can bring you to a bad encounter. Like what had happened almost three years ago.

She crossed her arms and nodded in agreement. She still wanted to continue the activity and it would be very bad if somebody will be left behind and face boredom.

"All right, all right. Now that both have made the peace, we can go on with the practice. But, I want an actual Duel. Be more mature with yourselves and try some more appropriate spells that can make an advantage during a battle. Know your limitations and precautions before proceeding. Think first before you act. Remember that."

Andria instructed and gestured for the two to proceed.

Lucy had watched the entire episode between Jet and Karma with confused interest. She was still slightly distracted when Aireon spoke. By the time he had shot the spell, she was speaking.

"No..." But she prepared herself anyway, and thought with all her might Protego, using the wand motion to accompany the spell. Despite the blocking spell, she still felt a small amount of Aireon's attack, but managed to avoid looking like a total idiot.

In France, they learned nonverbal spells since the first year so she was proud to say she was very good at them. Feeling all confident, she wanted to disarm the professor, but caught here in the wrong moment, because she was yelling at other students and everything happened too fast.

It didn't went like she wanted it. "Uhm...I'm sorry?", she said feeling unsure and ashamed.

Andria turned to the Gryffindor girl who was supposed to be her partner and gave an apologetic look for she did not took notice of her because of the sudden mayhem that went on with the couple of Slytherins. She hesitated to leave the two but decided that she can't be on the same place at the same time. And besides, she can never abandon the girl all alone. It was heartbreaking to see her humiliated.

The lady rushed towards the position of the girl and sighed. Apologizing for her own disgrace and misbehavior, smiling encouragingly and waited patiently for the spell to hit her.

"I'm sorry, lass. Perhaps we give it another go. Shall we? I was quite disturbed as you can see. But I'll focus much more now. Try and concentrate. I think I will not conjure the Shielding Charm yet. We'll see about your progress and take it to the next level once you did it."
