Lesson One - 4th years

Elizabeth walked into the Occlumency classroom and noticed none of the students had arrived yet, Hmp, how did i guess Elizabeth thought to herself, she then placed down a few text books on her desk, and then began pacing along the the classroom, Elizabeth had high expectations for her fourth years, as far as she was concerned they should be quite well advanced if they have manged to stay in the class for this long

Eliazbeth then looked out the window at the view of the black lake, a small smiled appeared across her face. Elizabeth then walked over to her desk and sat down behind it, she crossed her legs and began to strum her fingers on the old wooden desk, she had stern look on her face, as for something was telling her that the students wouldn't be up to her high expectations

Elizabeth then leaned back in her chair and folded her arms still with the stern unimpressed look on her face, and waited for the first couple of students to arrive

Karma walked into the Occlumency Classroom, her mental walls already up as she looked at the new Professor. Couldn't be more difficult than the Headmaster, could she? Recognizing her from the Owlry Fiasco Karma couldn't help the smirk that formed on her face. "Professor." She greeted cheerfully.

Jet still had no idea what to expect from this lesson, he'd never heard of Occlumency, but he hoped he was good at it.

He looked around the classroom, his eyes immediately falling on Karma. How did she manage to get everywhere before him?

"Hello Professor." He said, slipping into the seat next to Karma. He pretended not to notice the glare she threw his way.

Two Slytherin students walked in, Elizabeth looked at them for a while then realised she recognised the girl as Karma. Elizabeth then stood up and walked to the front of her desk and leaned on it

" So are there many more to come, or shall we just start"

Elizabeth asked sharply glaring at the two students in her class waiting for one of them to reply

Elizabeth couldn't help but feel that she would be disappointed in her 4th years, just like the rest of her classes, she wondered what on earth the previous Professor had been teaching them, [i]Nothing obvilously[i] Elizabeth thought to herself

Karma raised a thin brow in question before shrugging, her mental wall high and strong. "You can start if you wish to, Professor. I have no say."

[OOC: Hey guys well as you probably have realised im a Ministry Worker now, so Miles Bloxam will be taking over the class until someone applys for the job, so we're just going to adjust the class a little bear with]

Karma said she was quite willing to start the lesson, Elizabeth glared at her " Well Miss Black I think we might, because im sure I have a lot of work ahead of me" she looked at Karma with disgust

Elizabeth leaned on her desk and looked out the window, wondering why she hadn't heard back from the Ministry yet They said I would know before the start of term, why haven't they gotten back to me Elizabeth thought angerily

Miles was on his way to the Occlumency classroom after Asric gave him a letter from the Ministry of Magic to give to Elizabeth. Miles apporached the door and gave it a loud knock then entered

He stood at the doorway and quickly looked around the classroom he saw Elizabeth sitting at her desk looking rather unimpressed " Oh Elizabeth hi there, um Asric wanted me to give you this letter its from the Ministry he said it was very important"

Miles walked slowly up to Elizabeth's desk and handed her the letter

Elizabeth heard a knock on the door, and in entered the young Professor Bloxam, Elizabeth gave him a firm glare. He told Elizabeth that she had a letter from the Ministry of Magic as Miles walked up to hand her the letter she quickly snatched it out of his hands

Elizabeth tapped her wand on the letter, and it instanly formed a mouth and eyes and began speaking to her

Dear Madam Lestrange
The Ministry of Magic has come to the descison to employ you as an Obliviator, your job as you would be aware of is to ensure to keep the wizarding world hidden from muggles by using memory charms. Your employment with the Ministry is effective from today, we have had communications with Asric Chaos who has told us that he will find a temporay subsitute for your position

Hoping you are well; Quin Macbeth[i]

Elizabeth looked up at Miles, " Well i presume your the temporay Professor" Elizabeth said sharply

As Miles handed Elizabeth the letter he felt it very firmly being ripped from his hands, Miles looked down at the floor as the letter was speaking, he didn't want Elizabeth to think he was eavesdropping

Elizabeth snapped at Miles, he was taken back and went a bit red in the face as he always did when he became nervous

"Yes thats correct, I will just be taking over you class until they find a replacement, just make sure you leave your lesson plans on your desk in your office"

Miles said still feeling very uncomfortable around Elizabeth

Karma smile. "So, your the professor now, Miles?" she feigned a look of shock at her own cunning. "Er, I mean, Professor Bloxam?" She smiled winningly. "Is that what's going on?"

Miles looked over at Karma as she asked if he was the new professor, " Well its only temporary until a someone is appointed as the new professor" Miles said smiling back at Karma

" While im not as masterful as Professor Lestrange, I did complete a basic course in Legilimency some months ago" Miles added weakly, he was hoping a new Professor would be appointed soon as for when he was a student Occlumency was never his best subject

Miles replied to Elizabeth saying that he would be the temporary Professor. Elizabeth then pulled out her wand and used the Accio charm to summon her bag to her

Elizabeth then looked Miles up and down, then gave a smile smirk " Well got luck with this pathetic bunch" Elizabeth said then let out a laugh and pushed past Miles and walked out the classroom slamming the door behind her

Elizabeth was so happy that she would be leaving Hogwarts and all it's pathetic students

Lucy passed a rather disgusted looking professor on the way out of the classroom and was still confused about it as she walked in to see another professor. She nodded briskly, and to be safe put up a white wall in her mind. The last thing she needed was for this professor to know everything she was thinking about. She took a seat in the middle of the class, hoping to actually get something done today.

Miles walked behind the desk and began reading the lesson plan, then another student walked in, he smiled at her " Hello im Professor Bloxam" Miles said

He then had another glance over the lesson plan, Miles then got up and stood in front of the desk " Ok class we are going to be learning about creating a false memory, so you will be creating a false memory of when you woke up this morning, and you will imagine you woke up and you were an owl, then i will attempt to enter mind and try and find the real memory"

Miles looked around at the students and smiled encourgingly " So first clear you mind, I often find thinking of a black wall works for me, then once your mind is clear really try and imagine that when you woke up you were an owl, you really have to believe it" Miles then walked back behind the desk and took a seat

" Once you have all done that tell me then I will be asking for a volunteer to be first" Miles said, he then continued to read over the lesson plan while he waited for the students to complete the task

Jet frowned. waking up as an owl? Alright...

He closed his eyes and tried to clear his mind, but all he could think about was the idiotic assignment.

With a sigh he just though about owls. They had feathers, right? Yeah. They did. So, he just imagined he got up and had feathers. It probably wouldn't be that comfortable...

Jet's frown deepened. Alright, fine, he was an owl.

Lucy was glad she had put up her wall when she came in. She closed her eyes and imagined her own, a fluffy barn owl. She imagined the feel of its feathers, its sharp eyes that seemed to believe everything, its sharp claws that would get stuck in her mattress. Taking a deep relaxing breath she tried to put all those feelings on herself.

She would be itchy, the feathers poking into her skin had to feel uncomfortable, especially if she wasn't used to it. She tried to imagine her shock at waking up as an owl, and focused on every single detail she could. Then she forced herself to believe that it had actually happened. She placed that memory in front of the white wall and attempted to push everything else behind it.

While Miles was reading the lesson plan he heard a sigh and looked up and saw it was the Slytherin boy he seemed to have an unimpressed look on his face. Miles found this very rude, while Miles was young and didn't study Occlumency at teachers college he still was a Professor

Miles looked over at the Slytherin boy " Sorry if you don't find this very practial, your welcome leave class until a permant replacement is found" Miles said to the boy

Miles then looked around the rest of the class with a smile, "So is everybody else right?, not having any problems?" Miles asked

Serenity walked in, wondering what the class will be like. The professor right now, said it was great. However, he was a different professor.

"Hello Miles." She greeted. "Sorry I am late, I got caught up doing something."

Miles looked up at the door as he saw someone enter, at first he thought it was a student but once he got a proper look he saw it was Serenity he smiled warmly as she apologised that she was late

" Oh Serenity, no thats fine it's good your here now the kids do need their proper Professor" Miles walked over to the desk and picked up his satchal, and walked back towards Serenity

" Ok, so I'll leave you to it" Miles smiled as began walking out the door
