Last year his this group had certainly been his most chatty, as Colin went about moving the desks and making sure the room was prepared for that days lession, he wondered if they would be quite so... energetic this time around.

Whatever they may be, Colin stopped rearrange the room and moved to his spot. It was time to find out.

Thomas walked into the room to see he was the only one there besides the professor. "Good morning how was your summer" asked Thomas taking his seat

Iris entered the class, feeling excited for the lesson. Her summer had gone pretty well but she missed Hogwarts a lot. "Good day Professor," she greeted with a grin and took a seat. "Hope you had an awesome holiday!"

Iris climbed up to her second favorite tower after the Divination classroom and beamed once she saw her friends already there. She waved at them once she stepped in and greeted the professor,

"Good evening professor! Pleasant summer I trust?"

Anna walked into the classroom, feeling a bit dozy. She always felt dozy nowadays, really, so it didn't matter. She smiled at Eye and sat next to her.

He nodded at each of their greetings.

Colin looked at the four students infront of him. It appeared that he had all or most of the class that was supposed to show up.

After waiting for a few more before begining.

"Alright; as several of you have asked me, my summer was quite pleasent and I hope yours was likewise," he smiled at the room, "Now enough with pleasentries. Let's just get right into things shall we?"

He raised his eyebrow as he looked around the room.

"Can anyone remind the room what we were speaking of at the end of last year? We want to make sure we are all on the same page, and that our brains are still working from our nice long break."

Iris raised her hand up in the air with a bright mind still. She knew well where they had stopped over the past term. Their very last lesson before summer. She was after all the last one to recite back then. Besides, she can't just forget everything that had happened on her second year. They were part of her history and thus memorable.

"Blackholes and about our sun, professor. If I'm not mistaken."

"Thank you Ms. Frances," Colin nodded, glad that at least some of his students seemed to not only be arriving but participating, and remembering.

"Now, if we all remember, a black hole was a - very extreme case mind you - death of the star. So can anyone tell me-"

The man stopped his question mid rant as a student trailed in late.

"Mr. Andrews, you are just in time to answer a question for me," he smiled at the late comer, "Do you know how a star is created?"

Hades nodded. "I think they are created by action of gravity on clusters of dust and gas" Hades wasn't positive on the answer so he took a guess.

"Good, good," Colin nodded, "Thank you Mr. Andrews; that is it exactly - well more or less."

    He gave an impish grin.

"A star is born out of the reminance of an old star when one dies. So as you can see it is quite appropriate to talk about the death of a star before the begining... it is a bit like a chicken and the egg qustion," the man gave a little laugh.

"Now... can anyone tell me what a nebula is?"

Iris shook her hand in the air and answered the professor's question before anyone else would steal it. She knew well since her mind was filled with knowledge on words regarding about Astronomy. She had an advance reading over the boring summer. This is one of her most favorite subjects. She had to give her very best.

"Nebulas are diffused clouds of particles combined with gases which hydrogen as the main contributor. It is rather visible as a hazy patch of light or just some dark region against a less dark background."

"Yes, thank you Ms. Fransis," Colin responded, " That is exactly what a nebula is. A nebula is also where you will most often find large amounts of new stars being created. It is sort of like a star nursery."

"Now, I would like you to read from your text book for sometime, and I want a paper on the creation of stars at the begining of the next class."

Iris nodded and took out her book, following the orders they were told diligently and silently. She flipped through the pages and read the interesting topics. After some time, she grabbed a new roll of parchment from her bag, her bottle of ink, and her used quill. She then scribbled some notes hastily, ready to be summarized sooner and transform the words into an essay.

Anna smirked. Written work, she definitely had in the bag. She read her textbook as she took lots of notes on an empty piece of parchment with her blue peacock quill.
