Miles walked into the classroom he was so excited that he had got the position of History of Magic Professor, he was just so passionate about the subjected and hoped that he could inspire his students to be the same

He walked to his desk and placed down his textbooks and notes which he was going to use for the lesson, he walked around the back of his desk and sat down, he looked at his textbooks and notes then looked around the empty classroom with a smile on his face, he couldn't believe it, he was so excited

Miles then quickly looked over his notes to make sure he wouldn't miss anything out, he wanted to be well prepared

Miles heard the sound of books dropping on the desk, he looked up from his notes and saw a Slytherin girl at the back of the room she greeted him. Even though she was sitting at the back of the room she still looked friendly and interested

Miles then stood up and walked in front of his desk " Hi im Professor Bloxam, whats your name?" Miles said cheerfully as he waited for the the girl to reply, he was so excited that that someone actually turned up for his lesson, he just hoped that she wasn't the only one

Miles quickly glanced at his watch to check the time, wondering when the rest of his class would appear

As Iva spoke Miles noticed that she had a very thick accent, he smiled at Iva " Well thats good, I like history to" Miles said with a bit of a laugh he sensed the girl was a bit uncomfortable

Miles was going to ask what her accent was, though he didn't want to make her feel more uncomfortable, so he simply walked back behind his desk and sat down looking over his notes once more. Miles then looked pulled out his wand and bewitched the chalk to write " Death Eater Rebellion of 1970" on the board

Miles looked over his shoulder to make sure the chalk had writtten it, he then glanced over Iva and smiled trying to make her feel more comfortable

Iris came in through the classroom door with a slight knock. She heard voices having a conversation and she didn't want to disturb the two people. She peeked in and walked through the room. She hadn't been here. It was her first time ever to have History of Magic as one of her new subjects.

She sighed and began to greet the professor, "Good day, professor." she took a seat beside the other Slytherin girl and looked at her kindly as a friendly gesture. She then waited for the other students to arrive.

Wondering how this subject will be handled, she do hoped that she can survive.

Iva jumped when the girl entered, surprised. Good- she wasn't the only one. Iva nodded to Iris, forcing a small smile.

"Hello," she whispered, pulling out paper and a quill.

Miles then looked up as another Slytherin girl entered the classrom, Miles felt a surge of relief come over him that he wasn't going to have to teach one student, like he had to with his 4th year class this morning. Miles couldn't understand why the students weren't turning up for his classes I guess they like the previous Professor Miles thought to himself

The Slytherin girl sighed then greeted Miles, this shook his confidence a little bit, perhaps thats why people don't turn up to my classes they find they me to young and inexperienced Miles thought, he then smiled at the Slytherin girl

" Good morning, we're going to be learning about the Death Eater Rebellion today, you will find that in chapter 11, page 134 in your text book if you wanted to do a little bit of reading before the rest of the class comes" Miles said looking at both girls with a warm smile

" Oh but thats only if you want to, I mean its fine if you don't" Miles added, then looked back down at his notes and began highlighting and circling bits of information

Iris returned a smile to the professor and the girl. Satisfied with the first impression she had, she pulled out her book from her bag with a light mood like any other feeling she would portray everyday and did what she was supposed to do. She chose to get a start with the subject rather than waste her precious time doing nothing. That's why she's here right? And her wisdom about History of Magic isn't quite broad. Perhaps some exercise would do a little good.

Iris flipped the pages in search for the chapter. She ran over some pictures recognized years back through the past and gazed at some bloody pictures of Goblins and wizards. She continued on and finally settled to the right location. She hid her face behind the book and started reading of what seemed like an interesting topic.

After Miles finished highlighting his notes for the lesson, he then glanced over at the class list to see who they were still waiting for, Miles then saw that he only had two students enrolled in his class he let out a sigh then looked up at the students

" Well turns out your the only two" Miles said with a weak smile trying not to sound too disappointed " So I guess we can get started with the lesson, I'll just get you guys to finish reading those two pages on the Death Eater Rebellion, then I'll ask you guys a few questions"

Miles then reached into his bag and pulled out a bunch of chocolate frogs all contained in a net bag with a light blue ribbon tied delicately at the top to keep the frogs in the bag

" And of course there'll be a reward for correct answers" Miles said cheerfully gesturing to the chocolate frogs

Iva flipped open her book, along with a English to Russian dictionary. She looked at the textbook, staring at the dementor drawings and moving pictures. She gave a half smile and started to read.

History was the only subject Iva was actually good at. The facts just sort of stuck with her. Heck, she could even recite the history of the Soviet Union in under a minute.

Reading each word slowly and carefully, it took Iva a while to get through the reading. She underlined and circled some words, then looked up at the teacher, ready.

    She wanted to win.

" So Iva when the Death Eater Rebellion was put to an end, and all those who particpated appeared before a Minstry sentencing, how did some Death Eaters mange to avoid being brought to justice?" Miles asked

Miles hoped this wasn't a to hard of a question to start off with

Iris peeked at the top of her book and read until the very end of the last line of the page. She closed the cover and placed in on top of the table. She noticed that the professor's question is meant for Iva. And she should wait until it is her turn. Besides, the point would be given to Slytherin anyway. They are both in the same house for one. What a coincidence.

But still, she had to participate even if that's the case. Not all the time, one student has to be active. That would be a guilty thing for Iris.

" When the Death Eaters started this revolution against the Ministry what was their goal, what were they hoping to achieve?" Miles asked

Iris smiled back and relief rushed through her as she already knew the answer to that question without glancing a look from her book. Surely, the answer is just too obvious and easy to resist,

"Their very main goal from the Ministry would be the Prophecy hidden there. They were to steal them for their lord so as to finally kill The Boy Who Lived." she said as though she was just having a conversation and waved at the Gryffindor Georgie who arrived.

Luckily, not only two Slytherins were in that place.

Miles was pleased that Iris knew the answer " Well done Iris, thats correct" Miles then walked over to her desk and placed a chocolate frog down in front of her

Miles strolled back to his desk then turned around looking at his class with a cheerful expression " Ok, so now we're going to have a little discussion and I want answers from both of you. So do you think the Death Eater Rebellion of 1970 was a sucessful trimphant of Lord Voldemorts leadership, or a dismal failure displaying poor leadership skills?"

Miles looked at his two students eagerly, waiting for their responses

Iva looked at the girl who left with a strange curiosity. What was up with her?

She entered the classroom shyly. She didn't know what was happening to her but she felt like she would burst or explode if she doesn't do this right away.

Oh, God, there he is, she thought and giggled. He's so hot. HE'S EVEN HOTTER THAN I REMEMBER.

Looking at the professor as if she's gonna eat him, and trying to ignore the looks she got from his students, she approached him with confidence.

"I love you Miles Bloxam. I love you since the first moment I laid eyes on you. Since then, you've been my sun and stars, my moon and my night sky, my silent prayer before I fall asleep... I couldn't breathe, I couldn't eat, I couldn't think until I told you this."

Then she ran away giggling even more stupidly.

Miles listened to Iva's answer, he smiled and nodded " Yes thats very true Miss Popov, but it can also be argued that while he had the skill to conjure up a mass of follwers, he used brute force rather then a more tactial approach which possibly would have been proven more effective, thus showing a significant flaw in his leadership"

Miles was just about to ask Iris what her opinions where when suddenly a fourth year Gryffindor girl came into the classroom and proclaimed her affections Miles was very confused is someone spiking drinks with Amortentia latley Miles thought to himself Though why can't a gorgeous wizard come in here and do that Miles began thinking

Miles suddenly snapped from his thoughts and saw the Gryffindor girl run out the room laughing, just like the other one did, Miles this shook his head and looked over at Iris " So Miss Frances, what's your opinions?" Miles asked

Iris grabbed her chocolate and hid it inside her bag to save for later. She turned to look at the Gryffindor girls with strange confusion of their awkwardness and weird movements. Like Iva, what was up with them? Surely, Hogwarts is as crazy as it ought to be. Maybe perhaps the girl who said I Love You to the History professor drank some love potion or something. What an unusual thing to encounter.

She looked back to the professor after shrugging with a controlled giggle and cited her opinion on Voldemort and his plan having sense of leadership in it. For her, it was in the middle. Not stable, and quite cowardice was shown.

"True. Leadership is present right there even though it failed. But I think because of superiority and thinking of as individuals by each and everyone of them, since his followers all wanted to be rewarded, their plan didn't succeed."
