Take your pick- 3rd years

Shaun waited for his third year class. They were his best class last year. So he had high expectations of them. He stood behind his desk, tall and imposing, his arms crossed in front of his chest.
Lets see how much knowledge they had retained over the summer.

Iris entered the class and was relieved to see that she wasn't late, seeing that no one else had arrived. "Good day Professor, hope you had a good holiday." She told him with a smile.

Iva walked into the classroom and nodded at the professor, a glazed look in her eyes.

Honestly, she didn't like this class. Or any other, for that matter.

She sat in the corner, away from the Gryffendor girl, so she could maybe be unnoticed this class.

Crystal walked into potions and saw Iris and a Slytherin girl she didn't know.

She took a seat near Iris and waited for the rest of the class to show up.

"Hello Iris, you ready for this first lesson?" she asked with a smile on her face. She was having a great day and nothing would ruin it.

Anna hopped not-so-merrily into the classroom. Really, if anything, all of this hopping around was tiring her out. She smiled at Professor Moody before she sat next to a Slytherin girl she was sure she had never met before. She grinned at her.

"Tired?" she asked.

Iris entered the familiar dungeon room and smiled at all her friends right there. After greeting the professor with a slight bow, she headed over to the other side and sat beside the Slytherin girl she knew and noticed from a class she took up with her. She grinned at Anna then decided to talk to the girl once she placed her Potions stuff on the table, all neatly arranged and stacked her bag below.

"Hi! You're the girl from History, right? I'm Iris by the way. I haven't got the chance to speak then. Call me Eye."

Iva looked and the two girls next to her and sighed.

"I am not tired," she sighed, looking at the first girl. "Just bored."

She then turned to "Eye" ( She wondered why this girl was named after a body part) and nodded. "I am Iva Popov,"

"Bored?" she asked. She almost laughed. How could anyone be bored at Hogwarts? "Hmm... okay. I'm Anna Tshering."

Anna couldn't help but give Eye a little hug. She then turned back to the other Slytherin. "Iva?" she asked. "Such a pretty name."

Iris smiled at the somewhat moody Iva just now and sensed a confusing presence in her. She tried to explain the best way she could without sounding too convincing that she can feel the air around her,

"I think you're kinda curious of my nickname. See the Gryffindor over there?" she pointed at Grayson and chuckled a bit, "Her name is also Iris if you have heard. We don't want to be mixed up of course. So that's why."

She shrugged and raised an eyebrow. How could anyone be possibly bored at Hogwarts? Right here? Well, maybe not for Iva. It is a nice name though.

"Hey Crystal! Yup, I'm ready for the lesson." Iris replied with a grin. "Hello Eye, Anna!" She greeted her other friends as they entered. "Nice to meet you Iva," she said with a smile as she heard the Slytherin girl introduce herself.

Iva nodded at Iris to show she understood. All of these people - so close to her! Merlin's Beard, that couldn't be very sanitary. Placing her supplies on the desk, she sighed.

"Iva is short for Ivan." She explained, pronouncing the names the old Russian way. "My parents wanted another boy,"

She looked at the class and sighed. So dull.

Hades finally found the classroom. Hades walked in. "Good morning professor" Hades took a seat in the middle of the classroom.

Iris grinned when she saw Hades enter the class and she waved to him. "Hey Hades!"

Hades saw Iris and smiled instantly. "Hey Iris" Hades replied feeling happy now, knowing Iris was in his class.

Thomas walked into the class. "Morning" Thomas nodded to professor Moody. Thomas took a seat and realized there was a new student.

Caleb walked in and spotted Thomas. Caleb took a seat next to him. "Hello professor" Caleb said getting out what he would need for the class.

Anna shrugged her shoulders. "So did mine," she sighed. "They got me instead. And I'm' pretty sure that's why they split up. But then they got back together again in the summer."

Anna huffed and decided to tap her fingers quietly on the table.

Iris patted Anna's shoulder once she crossed Iva between them. She did felt concern about her friend. Well, to the two of them. But since Iva was pretty much the girl who would rather choose to be quite than talk, especially if she considered this class dull, Iris would have a conversation with the Ravenclaw instead. Besides, she wouldn't want to be more boring and still. She had to react and be that friend to others.

"You are still lucky, Anna! Wouldn't you believe before that that would happen? Guess some things just come by unexpectedly. And they make you happier than ever. Good thing family problems ended, huh?"

"Hello everyone. Let's start, shall we?" Shaun gave a tiny smile to his class. They were a good batch.
"Today as a start, I'd like to know your preference on the potions. I'd like you to suggest the potion we should brew today and your reason. If your reason seems sound and the potion is feasible to brew for you lot. We'll be trying it. How about it?"

"Maybe the Undetectable Poison," Anna replied. "Y'know, to see if they actually work or if it's just a myth."

Iris recited with a good mood compared to that when talking about her visions and dreams. She really wanted to try that potion ever since the start of the term last year. Wherein she spoke that to Professor Dosha at first before she disappeared. She considered some of the potions she already brew useless and ones that can't come in handy for her. She needed something else. And this was the chance to suggest. They were lucky enough to choose their own.

"Sir, can we try the Dreamless Sleep potion? Well, it's for some private reason."

Holly, as usual was ate as she stumbled into the dungeon classroom. Hopeless and forgetful as she was. She took her place at the back, got out her things and hastily apologized for lateness. Once prying eyes had settled on one more convenient subject, Holly listened intently for what they were to be learning today.

Cinnie walked in not far after Holly. Her face was coered in black dust, the ends of her braids were smoking, and she was walking with a slight limp. "Sorry I'm late!" She called. "Potion gone wrong. Had to clean up and repair the wall. Personally, I thought a window would look very nice there, but that's just me."
