Every Teardrop is a Waterfall {OPEN}

Storm had started to worry about the girl who was sitting on her own in the common room. She just couldn't keep her eyes from wondering over to her, just to make sure she was okay. She looked older than Storm, but very sad. When she was certain she'd seen a tear on her cheek, Storm decided to go check on her.
"You alright?" she sked softly, as she approached.

When Storm was told to go away, all she did was raise an eyebrow. She'd gotten used to it, as while she was living in the muggle world that was pretty much how people greeted her.
"Oh really?" she muttered. "It doesn't sound like it. Absolutely sure?"

Storm looked at her insecurely. She'd never really been good at dealing with unhappy people, but decided it was best just to go with the flow.
"Please just tell me," she murmured. "I don't know if I can help, but talking about it may be better than keeping it to yourself." She was amazed at how confident she sounded, and continued slowly.
"To start with, why are you not sure?"

Storm nodded and sat down. She was somehow relieved that she didn't have to fight her.
"So," she began. "Who do you miss and why?"

Storm's eyes widened at the girl's story. Of course, she'd thought all along that it had to be tragic, but surely not that bad. She nodded occasionally, but stayed silent.
"Oh," she said. "No, I don't think you're talking nonsense. I think it's natural, even though I don't know the feeling. Of course we can't know what's going to happen in these days.."
Storm decided to drop that, and changed the subject.
"So, how was your brother when he was alive?"

"He was awesome. I was always his favorite, and I was always the favorite of my other brother, both of them competing for my attention in a way, constantly making me smile with their goofy jokes. I miss the times when everything was simpler. He was hard to control and I understand now why our parents worried about him the most.", Tesla started, frowning. "What I don't get is, how did they forget about him so soon, moved on and continued with living in the same house in which he lived before."

"So the exact opposite of my brother," sighed Storm. She was, for once actually paying attention to somebody. It wasn't half bad.
"Well, I guess they knew that at some point they'd have to move on anyway, so they just did. I doubt they've forgotten him, though. You might have to move on, too. I mean not forget about him or anything. I think your brother would have wanted you to remember him and go on."

"I'm sure he's not bad or anything. You are saying that just because you can take him for granted now, but if something happens to him, or to anyone else in your family, you'll have change of hearts, like I did. And I hope nothing happens to you or them, I mean it. I'm so stupid, scaring you with things that don't need to bother you at all", the girl said, hiding her face in her hands.

"I can't move on, I just can't."

Storm laughed gently. "He doesn't even want anything to do with me. Yeah, I suppose I'd not be happy if he died, but all being here is doing is making it worse. Oh, and no. I'm not scared at all, and I don't thing you're stupid at all." Things just got worse and worse between Storm and her brother, and it was getting unbearable.
"Well, mabye if you give it some thought that just being sad about it isn't going to help at all. Just consider that it's not solving anything. Moving on may be as hard as it may be, but you can be stronger than you think. We all lose people, and it always hurts, but then we move on and we're surprisingly okay. Whoever we lost always stays with us. I cannot beileve I just sounded like my dad making a big emotional speech."
