Miles walked into the hall with his dark charcol suit with a red tie, he looked around the hall in amazment the hall was stunning. Miles then made his way to the food table he smiled and greeted a few students which he past

Miles eyes widned as he saw the mass of food, he then picked up a pumpkin pasty and filled a glass of egg nog and looked around at the students and professors having a good time, it appeared as thoguh they were all in their cliques and being his first year as a professor Miles didn't feel he fitted in

So he found a spare table to sit at and sipped his egg nog, he did kinda wish he had some company, but nevertheless he was still enjoying the Christmas cheer

She had not made many friends her family was full of complication and she thought the reason was because her step father was muggle and when in fact she was alone this liked prom thing. She did not have many friends she did not mind the fact she was alone and she did not mind that noone asked her to dance.

She never meet a nice male or women and she felt some what a Slythern but the reason was because she kinda liked being alone and well she did not really want to go to one these and could not figure out why she dress to one of these things.She look around she knew she would not have many people that would come here.

She look beautiful and liked hell she would dance with stranger with pure blood. Okay she was pure but she did not know that she was pure and she was half blood and when in fact she pure and it was because mom told daddy that she was half because daddy would know she been with another man beside that man too. She did not mind that she was alone and no offends she was skittish around the others and she seat down and she she somewhat hate the dress it look some what elegant. As she moved around she saw professor yes she was younger then him and she felt so alone. "Mind if I seat with you?" She had bruise mark on her arm and she had some type of white covering and her father was not too nice. She gather her confident so speak. "I'm surprise your alone without a date. " She did not have date either and she was new to this school and she look back at him.

Miles noticed a student come over to him and asked why he didnt have a date, Miles gave a small laugh at this comment " Well, I guess it's hard to find a charming wizard here"

The girl asked to sit down with him " Yes course have a seat" Miles said as he admired her beatiful dress " Your dress is absoulutely stunning may I say" Miles then took a bite out of his pumpkin pasty and looked back up at the girl and smiled

she seemed familar but couldn't quite work out where he'd seen her

He was older right it should be easy for him because he been around the block and he was not bad looking for old man. She herself was afraid to asked anyone the reason was she thought she would get the same reaction that her father gave her which was not good.She seat down with the man and she was nervous still slightly and she asked to seat down with him because the man did not look liked he was lonely and maybe she could spread some Christmas cheer for him and she could never do that with his father because everything she did was wrong. She always did some thing wrong yes and such thing.

"Thank you sir. I hope it was already for occasion. I did not know if we had dress school color or we choice are favorite color. " She figure that Raven claw would be black if she do that it would have slightly longer to find the dress she thought was good for this occasion yes. "It quiet hard to find that person. I know that I am new to this school. I barely know anyone. I have made not any friends yet. " She was good student and she hope that he did not mind her and such thing she just thought she would mingle some and talk to others since big get together well this professor.


"Oh right how rude of me. I should introduce myself my name is Nocturna Destler and you are?" She maybe not what professor was looking for with company who else was there most people pretend she was not there anyway and sometime she felt invisible by her father and call her name and such things. Sometime she wish she was not born so there would be no fighting. "I know I am not much company. I just hate being alone in these things because I don't have many friends but my house elf at home."

Miles listened as the girl stated that she hadn't made any friends yet, Miles gave a small smile " Oh so your a first year, it's my first year here to, I guess the other Professor's dont quite respect me as much cos im fresh out of teachers college" Miles let out a sigh then took another sip of his egg nog

As Miles was drinking he heard the girl introduce herself, so he placed down his cup and stuck his hand out " Nice to meet you Nocturna, im Professor Bloxam"

Miles then looked over at the girl with a smirk " So you don't take History of Magic do you" Miles then paused and said with a bit of a laugh " Because thats what I teach"

She could not do anything right according to her father and it would seemed that the teacher was not real mean liked her father. They never do anything and she had glass in hand she sip her drink quietly as she listen to him. She took the man hand and she shake his hand gentle and she listen to him. She was just as new and so he was just new as she is. She shake his hand. "Nice to meet you Professor Bloxam." She hope that the other would be able to see and such things."Well I am in potion ,Transfiguration,occlumency and history." She had to take extra class because the reason is most teacher well never show up to class.

Miles was surprized when he found out Nocturna took his History class, he just could recall seeing her there perhaps she was quiet and stayed towards the back of the classrom

Miles then smiled warmly at her again " Oh so you do take History, are you enjoying learning about the four founders?" Miles asked casually trying to make small talk

She knew two of them and she knew other famius witches such as Morgana Le fay and she knew about her if they where asked about those two. "I think might know two founder are Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. I don't know the other two. I think those two I read alot books on them and was curious about them. The others I might need to study up at that book wise. But if you asked about Morgana and Arthur I know some of it and such things. " She look back at the women and such things and what not look back at the women and such things.The reason she knew about Rowena is because what house is and what not Salazar was because she heard people talking to him but the others she could not remember who they where.
